I blinked awake, my head foggy, and that's when I saw her.Her hair was a wild mix of lilac and deep blue, straight but flowing effortlessly, like it had a mind of its own.But it was her eyes that truly captured me-dark sapphire pools that seemed to cradle entire constellations, as if the night sky itself had taken refuge within them. The longer I stared, the more it felt like I was falling into an endless expanse of stars. Her beauty was otherworldly, so perfect it almost hurt to look at her, as though she didn't belong in this world at all. Then I locked eyes with her, and everything else blurred. Her gaze hit me like gravity-those dark blue eyes weren't just blue. They were alive, swirling with stars, like she was carrying the entire night sky inside them. It wasn't just beauty; it was something... more. She felt unreal, like a secret the universe had no business revealing. And in that moment, I wasn't sure if I wanted to wake up or stay lost in whatever this was.

But then reality hit me like a splash of cold water, snapping me out of my daze. I was sitting at a table her sitting across from me, watching me with a quiet, knowing smile.

That's when I noticed the garden around us, and my breath caught in my throat. There weren't any flowers or trees, no roses, no vines, nothing familiar. Instead, planets floated lazily in the air, like they had sprouted from the soil itself. Some were as small as marbles, glowing faintly, while others were massive, their surfaces swirling with storms and rings. Moons orbited around them in hypnotic patterns, casting soft halos of light.

The longer I stared, the more I felt myself slipping under again, pulled by the sheer impossibility of it all. It was like standing inside a dream that had no right to exist, and yet... it did. Every detail was impossible, yet perfect. I was mesmerized all over again by the planets, the air humming with cosmic energy, and, most of all, by the woman sitting across from me, her eyes shimmering like they held the very same galaxies. The beautiful woman tilted her head slightly, a playful glint flickering in her starry eyes. "Are you done observing?" she asked, her voice smooth and light, like a breeze drifting through the cosmos.

There was a teasing edge to her words, as if she found my stunned silence amusing. I blinked, realizing I'd been gawking far longer than I should have.

"Uh... yeah," I mumbled, though it wasn't even close to true. How could anyone be done observing a scene like this? She leaned forward slightly, resting her chin on her hand, the hint of a smile tugging at her lips. "Good. Because we have things to discuss, and I'd rather not waste time waiting for you to recover from cosmic awe. Embarrassed, I scratched the back of my neck and forced out the words. "Uh... could you, um, tell me where I am?" I asked awkwardly, my expression probably somewhere between confused and mildly panicked.

The woman's lips curled into a smirk, her eyes gleaming with quiet amusement. "Well," she said with a hint of playful nonchalance, "you're dead." Oddly enough, I didn't feel shocked, just a strange sense of confirmation, like I'd known it all along but hadn't wanted to admit it. But her answer, while unsettling, wasn't really what I was after. I shifted in my seat, glancing at the planets still lazily drifting around us.

"Yeah, okay... But, uh, that's not exactly what I meant," I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite the weirdness of it all. If this was some kind of afterlife, it was definitely not what I'd expected-and I had a lot more questions.
The woman's smirk deepened as she leaned back, her lilac-and-blue hair shimmering under the light of the floating planets. "You're in my domain," she explained, her voice silky and measured. "More precisely, the domain of the God of the Multiverse."

She smiled as she spoke, as if dropping such an earth-shattering statement was just casual conversation.

This time, the words hit me like a tidal wave. My brain stalled, and my heart felt like it skipped several beats. "W-w-what?!" I stammered, my voice cracking as I lurched forward in my seat. "What am I doing here?!" The shock left my mouth hanging open, my mind scrambling to make sense of what she'd just said. God of the Multiverse? This had to be some kind of mistake-or a weird dream I was still stuck in. I tried to speak again, but the words fizzled out halfway, leaving me gaping like a fish out of water.

The beautiful woman leaned forward slightly, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "You see, I kind of need your help," she said, as if recruiting strangers from alternate realms was no big deal.

Wait, wait, wait.
You're probably sitting there wondering, How did I get into this situation? And if you're not-well, you should be. Because, seriously, how does someone just end up chatting with a goddess in a cosmic garden surrounded by floating planets?

Anyway, to make sense of all this, let me take you back a bit.

Three days earlier...
