(RAHH I START TO LIKE DRIAM MORE WHILE WRITING THIS)
Drew and Liam were at the fair.
They were walking past the games, trying to win each other prizes, laughing as they took silly photos in the photo booth, and stopping by the food stalls to buy the worst, most greasy carnival food they had.
Liam had his hand in Drew's the entire time, happily walking side-by-side with him.
The night was going great and they both were enjoying themselves, the atmosphere of the fair exciting them.
As night started to fall, the lights of the fair came on, illuminating the stalls and rides in bright colors.
The carnival music filled the air and children could be heard happily running around, laughing and screaming.
The smell of fried and greasy food hung in the air, making both of their stomachs rumble.
They passed by the ring throwing booth, Drew determined to finally get one of the giant animal plushies on display.
He threw his ring, aiming for one of the bottle stacks and completely missed, causing Liam to burst out into laughter.
Drew rolled his eyes at his friend while he laughed, though his annoyance was obviously faked.
He bought another ring, throwing it and somehow managing to miss again.
He glared at the bottles as if they were his nemesis.
"Okay, now that was uncalled for- these things hate me," Drew complained, glaring at the bottles.
Liam tried to hold back his laughter but was failing, his shoulders shaking as he suppressed his laughter. "You just suck at aiming.."
"Oh shut up, it's this janky ring," Drew huffed, gesturing to the ring in his hand. "I know I can get one if they give me a normal ring. You better watch me get a win on the next try," he said, glaring at the bottle stack as he threw his ring yet again.
Liam watched as the ring flew, landing a little short of the bottles, clearly missing again.
He struggled to hold in his laughter at Drew's frustration. "Sure sure, keep telling yourself that, and maybe it'll come true.." he teased, a smile forming on his face.
Drew glared at the rings with a look that could murder, then huffed and turned to look at Liam.
He crossed his arms as his competitive personality came out. "Okay smartass, you try," he said, gesturing to the bottle stack.
Liam laughed at Drew's expression, it was so full of annoyance and competitive spirit.
"Okay okay, whatever, just give me that ring.. let me show you how it's done."
Drew rolled his eyes and handed Liam the ring, already predicting that he wouldn't make it.
He crossed his arms and waited, trying hard not to give a smug look as he silently knew Liam wouldn't make it either.
Liam took the ring from Drew and held it up, testing the weight and aim with a few practice throws.
After being satisfied with the ring, he aimed for the bottle stack and threw the ring.
To Drew's annoyance, the ring landed perfectly on the bottle stack, almost knocking it over completely.
Drew glared at the ring, then turned to glare at Liam and his smirk.
