My Deepest Fear

Chapter 4

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I looked up and it was 7:38. Who the hell set an alarm for 7:38??!

I shook my head and went to get out of bed but was stopped after getting a text message from Noah. It read 'I set that alarm for 7:38, now get yo booty up'. I laughed and texted him back. He had bought me a phone, more clothes, and some other things. He said he bought me all those things because he knew that I needed them, unless I wanted people talking about how I wore the same clothes, or didn't have a phone in case of an emergency. He also said that he wanted us to get to know each other better so that we could move on to the next level. I honestly thought that he had told me something else and I didn't quite understand, or remember.I laughed. If that did happen Noah would explain it to me, and make sure I understood. Right?

Noah was picking me up today to bring me somewhere so that we could talk. So I got up and did the usual, washed up, brushed my teeth, and wore all black, like Noah. I wore my gold hoop earrings that had my name in them,that Noah had also bought me,and sprayed myself with perfume. I was soo ready for today! :)

Noah's POV

Okay so I know what you all are thinking. Why isn't Ashley talking about this vampire situation?

Well you see, when I told her about it, she instantly blacked out. I knew I made a mistake when that happened. I didn't wanna tell her again because I knew it wasn't safe for her. So instead I told her that she had fell down the steps and some other crazy ish. But there's a catch, that was last Friday. I know I messed up. And I really wanted to tell her so that when we did move to the next level, if we moved to the next level; then she'd know what she was getting into. Today was going to be the day that I tried to tell her again. And don't get me wrong, I have thought about changing her, like so many times. Ever since I've met her I couldn't stop thinking about how we would fall in love as a vampire couple, and have kids, and more. So if I wanted that to happen, I couldn't keep any secrets from her, especially one this big. With that being said I took a quick shower, threw on another black outfit, and headed out to pick up Ashley.

Ashley's POV

I watched as Noah's black convertible pulled up in front of my house. My face instantly lit up. I ran down the steps almost tripping, again. I opened the door and greeted him with a big hug. "Looks like someone missed me" he said with a slight chuckle. I laughed and pulled away."You ready?" he asked."Yes" I said with huge smile on my face. I bet I looked so stupid right now.

In about 20 minutes we pulled up in front of what looks like Noah's house. He never allowed me to come over but he would always say how it was big and how it was surrounded by the woods. He had always told me that it was too dangerous to come here but I never understood why. He stepped out of the car and opened up the passenger's door."thank you " I said. He took my hand and walked me up to his house. He led me to what looked like the living room and told me to sit down on the huge black sofa."you hungry?" he asked. My stomach responded. Noah chuckled." What would you like to eat" he asked."Anything" I said, as my stomach growled again."okay" he said as we walked to the kitchen. He grabbed plain bagels off of the top of the refrigerator, a pack of pepperoni out of the refrigerator, and along with some shredded cheese."you ever made or eaten bootleg pizza " he asked. I laughed."No" I said laughing again as he opened the bagel and put the shredded cheese on it and then topped it off with pepparoni. He chuckled and sat the bagels in the oven."don't tell anyone" he said." Your secrets safe with me" I said with a smile.

When the food was done we grabbed plates and sat them down on the table."How many do you want" he asked."Two please" I said. He sat two on my plate, and two on his plate."Thank you" I said and took a bite."welcome" he said. " Mmm your bootleg pizza is good" I said trying to hold in my laugh."HEYYY" he said, scrunching up his face. I couldn't hold it anymore I burst into laughter. "That's not funny " he said with a slight chuckle .

After a long talk about random things, Noah took me upstairs. He led me to this room that was dark and only had the colors black and red in it.

"I'm not ready -" I started. "We won't be doing that any time soon" he said and smiled. I smiled back. "I just wanna talk to you about something" he said as we sat on the bed."what is it" I asked. It was silent for a few minutes, then he finally spoke. " Last Friday..." He started. He held my hands and I scooted next to him, almost onto his lap."Last Friday ....I asked if you wanted to go to the movies with me... You said yes and I picked you up the next day...but not in a normal way" he said then took a break......." Before you walked into the building I grabbed you and threw u on my back.........you were screaming and kicking telling me to put you down because-". "because I didn't know who you were and you told me that you were a vampire" I said looking into his eyes."how did you-" " I had a flashback" I said." So are you going to yell and say that we can't be friends now? " he asked. "No" I said."why?" he asked confused. "Because If I were a vampire I wouldn't ever want you to do that to me" I said.

I felt his face started to get close to mine and our lips touched. I felt sparks flying all in the inside of my body. But then I pulled away. "What's wrong" he asked. He looked nervous. I chuckled "I don't think we should do this "I said then climbed off the bed. " Oh .......right".

???::: "Did u poison them?" I said through the phone.

???::: "I put it in the bagels on top of the refrigerator before he came home."

???::: "Good". I said before hanging up.
