A Heart that Loves

I love everyone, no matter the stain,
Even those lost in sorrow and pain.
When someone thinks of ending their fight,
It breaks my heart, dims the light.

The ripple of loss spreads far and wide,
Families shattered, tears that can't hide.
It's hard to witness a life lost in strife,
I ache for the souls who struggle in life.

Though some may falter, and actions seem wrong,
I believe in love; it's where we belong.
I may not condone all the choices they make,
But beneath the surface, we're all human, awake.

For some carry burdens too heavy to bear,
Raised in the shadows, with no one to care.
Mental battles fought, unseen by the eye,
They need understanding, a reason to try.

Even the ones who seem lost and unkind,
Deserve a chance, a moment to find
That love can heal, and hope can ignite,
A spark in the darkness, a path to the light.

So I hold onto love, for every lost soul,
In a world where compassion can help make us whole.
Let's reach out our hands, let our hearts be the guide,
For even the broken can flourish inside.
