peace and quietness. What a wonderful Feeling, nothing has to bother you. feeling that you dived into a deep ocean. Facing the prosperous beauty of underwater.I am seated in the corner of the Library. Soft glow of light from the lamp is casting a gentle gleam over a wooden table. Large bookshelves, facing me which clearly giving historical gothic vibe. The scent of aged paper mingling. faint trace of lavender I always wore.
I messaged Alex but I guess he is busy so he can't make it.I am a little bit disappointed. But I waved it off and begin to focus on my studies
The quiet hum of this library eloped around me as a blanket and I reveled in the solitude. The soft rustle of pages turning, the occasional scrape of chair, and the gentle ticking of a nearby clock are the only sounds accompanying my thoughts.I leaned back for a moment gazing out the large window to my left, the sun is coming down, casting a long shadow of trees outside. The world outside felt distant, almost dream-like as I stepped out of time and into the sanctuary of knowledge and peace.
With a soft sigh I turned back to my notes. The ink gliding smoothly on the surface of paper. There is something soothing about the process of learning, the steady focus it required. My mind, now free of distractions. Soaked up information with ease. I felt no rush, no pressure. Only the quiet joy and discovery. Alone in the library. yet not lonely. I found myself savoring this peaceful moment, relishing the serenity of studying without interruption.
As I was so focused I forgot how much time had passed. I looked in the window and it seems night already. I think it's time to go now. I get up and start to pack my things. My eyes go to a book that isn't mine.
I bought them from the shelf. I picked them up and go straight to put where they were. As i continue walking, I realized, few people left in this Library. I found the section and shove the books there. I feel someone's watching me I turned my head and there a shadowy person, standing. The place here is congested. he is just looking at me, I take my light steps towards it as my heart picked speed as I came close my mind make me stop. The person standing there starts to move and bringing his foots towards me then again stops. My mind is constantly saying run but I can't move my feets. Boo!
Alex laughs as I moan. He looks at me, grinning."You think it's funny huh?" I say crossing my arms over my chest.
"No, but your reaction was cute though" he says, holding my hands. He takes me toward exit doors. I grab my things. "I should've film it" he says, watching the door, then turning his face to me. I remain quiet and Alex's notices it. Tiredness is spilling over me"My Janie's tired?" he says as he takes my arm.
"Yeah.. little bit" we are walking on streets lights are gleaming down on the walk path as everything remains quiet. He's looking at me moment to moment. I can see something stopping him from speaking.
"What's the matter Al?" I say as he give a look and then smiles."I was thinking if we can go to a spot that I recently discovered.." he shrugged.
I think we should go because its worth that i can get some relief by staying outside
"Sure why not," I said, assuring him.
"Okay let's go then"He take my hand, it feels warm and soft against mine, making my inner void fill.
We arrived at the spot. He suddenly stops In Front of me and turned around.
"Close your eyes" I did as he said. He positioned his both hands on my shoulder from behind and started to lead the way. After some moments. He stops
"Now you can open" he whispers in my ear and drops his hands.
I opened my eyes and I can't tell it's real. it seems like we stepped in illustrated frame of art.
