After the basketball club announcements, Yonaga exited the school gates and approached her vehicle; which was parked parallel to the sidewalks, waiting patiently for her arrival. Since the girl was in deep thoughts and wasn't paying much attention while approaching, she bumped her head hard on the roof of her car and cried out in pain.

"Ow! For god sakes..." she muttered under her breath as the driver immediately turned around in his seat at the sound. Yonaga rubbed her injured forehead while evident teardrops formed in her eyes. Her driver immediately questioned her with concern but to only be met by a reassured smile and wave indicating that she was alright.

Although he was still concerned about her well being, they are going to be tardy from dinner if he does not start the drive soon. As such he started the engine to the vehicle and began their drive home.

Meanwhile, in the backseat of the automobile, the female was still rubbing her forehead in mild pain as she let out a small sigh. She just prays that the bruising will disappear by tomorrow so she doesn't have to apply bandages or makeup on herself to cover it up.

As she was drowning in deep thoughts yet once again, a sudden melody starting to ring throughout the car, more specifically, from inside her school bag.

The sudden noise had snapped Yonaga out of her thoughts, she unzipped her bag and pulled out her smartphone. As soon as she saw the caller ID that flickered on the screen, a smile crept up her lips as she tapped the answer button on it.

"Hello?" She answered in a cheerful voice and immediately was greeted by a deep and familiar voice.

"Hey, Yonaga-chan? It has been a while darling! How are you?" Yonaga let out a giggle at her caller as his voice brings back a lot of memories.

"I've been fine, what about you, Kozo oji-san?" The male on the other end let out a hearty laugh at her reply. His identity was none other than Shirogane Kozo, the director of Teiko Middle School's basketball club, and also Yonaga's uncle.

"Good, good. So, how did you find the results of our recruiting announcement?" The excitement that had died down just a little while ago began to bubble inside the female's heart again at her uncle's inquiry.

"Very unexpected, yet extremely exciting and interesting. I cannot wait for tomorrow!" Another jolly laugh came through the other end once again which made an excited smile plaster onto her face.

"I'm glad you're enjoying your time here, that reminds about my reason for calling today. I want you to meet in my office in school before the official after-school practice tomorrow."

"Before practice desuka? What for?" The female questioned, a little confused by her uncle's instructions.

"I would like to formally introduce you to the coach and captain of the first string team before you join their practice tomorrow." At his explanation, the female now understood the meaning of this meeting and nodded her head on instinct.

"I understand, I'll meet you there then tomorrow. Is that all you've called for?"

"Yes, that's it, for now, I will be going then, there's still work left to finish. I'll see you tomorrow Yonaga-chan." She let out a soft smile at her uncle's words.

"Hai, I will see you tomorrow oji-san. Sayonara."

"Sayonara."

With that, both callers hung up and just when Yonaga was going to put her phone back, another sound rang out from it. However, this time, it was a different sound from the previous. She realized that this time it was a text message that has been sent to her and checked the screen while slightly widened her eyes in astonishment at her messenger.
