After getting driven out by the human, the fox wandered the forest once more. The winter was harsh and there was not a single other animal in sight for days. The stomach of the fox began to growl, it had nothing to eat and its bones began to show through its flesh, but as luck would have it, the fox saw a bunny.

The bunny wasnt particularly large but the fox cannot afford to be picky of it's food after starving for a while. It carefully hid itself in the bushes and when it was close enough, it pounced on the bunny.

The poor thing let out a cry as the teeth of the fox sinked deeper and deeper into it's flesh, but it was succesfully able to escape from the fox and began to run. The wound on the bunny trickled blood and left a trail of red as it ran.

The fox was greatly angered and began to run after it. The bunny ran as quickly as it could but it realized the fox was getting closer and closer so decided to hide from the fox instead. The fox looked around and could no longer see the bunny but it could see the trail of blood the bunny left. The fox sniffed the ground and started to track the bunny down.

After an unkown amount of time passed, the bunny believed it had escaped from the fox, and returned to it's burrow where it's children were at. But as it was about to enter the burrow, it was attacked once more by the same hungry fox from before. It let out another cry and the children of the bunny heard it and they all quickly ran out the burrow.

The little bunnies were terrified at the sight they saw, their mother hanging in the mouth of a fox and blood spilling out of her body. The little bunnies also began to cry like their mother. The bunny was still miraculously alive and saw the sad, and terrified faces of her children and cried even more.

The fox paused and hesitated on devouring the bunny infront of it's children. The incredibly sad atmosphere made the fox feel a little bit bad about doing all of this. It dropped the bunny in it's mouth and began to walk away in search of food once more.

The bunnies ran and didnt look back for a bit, but stopped running when they noticed the fox was no longer chasing them. They were still tense because the fox might show up again but as the sun began to set and the fox was nowhere to be seen, they relaxed a bit and started to focus more on the injured bunny.

Even more time has passed and the fox became incredibly skinny, it's bones were now a lot more clearly seen. It barely found any prey and the future of the fox looked bleak. The bunnies from several days before saw the starving fox and they too, felt sad for it. The bunnies approuched the fox timidly and when they saw the fox growl, they kept backing away. But after a bit of time, the bunnies presented the fox to a plentiful amount of berries.

The fox was shocked and greedily began to devour the berries. From then on out, the bunnies the fox had spared began to provide the fox with berries and fruit whenever the fox looked extremely hungry, and would lead the fox to places where other animals were so it can hunt and devour on the flesh of the animals there rather than their flesh.
