The Next Day, Neo's POV

I found myself researching aura and semblance experts and specialists, seeing if I could learn more about my lack of voice. I came across one that looked familiar, named Lie Ren. I couldn't place him, but he looked familiar. I decided to go see him, and see if I could learn anything more about my semblance and muteness.

The Same Time, Nora's POV

"Hey Ren, wanna go get pancakes?" I asked, looking happily to the guy next to me. I can't say why I love pancakes so much, I just love them!

"Sure Nora, why not? We are off of classes today, so we may as well go and have some fun." Ren replied, calmer than usual.

"YAY!" I yelled, dragging Ren to the airships. As we boarded the airship, I saw a strange woman on there, just as she saw us. She had cool hair, half pink and half brown. One of her eyes was those colors as well; she looked just like Neapolitan ice cream.

"Hey Ren, look at that woman, she looks like ice cream!" I pointed to her, whispering. I hadn't seen her walk up to us, and she was looking right at Ren.

"May I help you?" Ren said to the woman, a warm smile on his face/ The woman help up a slip of paper, saying the words, 'I heard you are an expert with aura and semblances. I was looking for some help, and I was wondering if you could help.'

"Sure thing, what do you need?" Ren said as the airship took off, seeing the woman had a whole notebook full of words to communicate.

"Ren, this woman seems kind of off, like she's trying to take advantage of you. Not in that way, just like, she seems evil." I whispered to Nora, seeing the woman hadn't heard me.

'My name is Neo, and I was wondering if there was any way to reverse the thing taken from us by semblances.' The paper she held up said, as she smiled warmly.

"It depends on what it is. Some can be solved by simple surgeries, such as a loss of sight or voice, but others cannot be solved, like a result in being much shorter than usual, or more energetic than usual." Ren said, patting my head.

"Hey, were both of those aimed at me?" I yelled up to him, fists at the ready.

"No, the short one was for Weiss." Ren said. As he said that, the woman clenched up, as if she had suddenly realized she left the stove on at home.

"Left the stove on at home?" I asked, and the woman shook her head, flipping avidly through her notebook.

'Are you related to Weiss Schnee?' She scribbled down and showed Ren, who gave a simple head nod.

"I'm on a team that lives across the hall from her and her team." Ren replied quizzically. "Why do you want to know?"

'I've heard the name Weiss before and it wasn't very common where I lived, so I was wondering if it was her name.' She scribbled down on another piece of paper.

"Hey, was your voice taken by your semblance?" I asked, getting an elbow to the arm from Ren. "Hey, it was an actual question!"

She nodded her head and turned back to Ren, a warm smile on her face as she held up a paper that said 'Thank You'.
