In the dimly lit room of the underworld mafia meeting, the air was tense. The greatest mafia boss in the country, Simba, sat at the head of the table, surrounded by his loyal men. Across from him sat a Russian dealer, his cold eyes gleaming as he made his proposal.
"I want to expand my business here," the Russian said, his voice low and persuasive. "I will give you 10% of the profit. It's a generous offer."
Simba's face remained stern. "Jack doesn't like this business. And what he dislikes, I can't allow here."
The Russian's eyes narrowed. "Forget Jack. Make your son, Ravi, the king of the mafias. I'll increase the offer to 25%."
Despite the offer, Simba remained firm, his loyalty to Jack unwavering. "No. I won't go against Jack."
But before anyone could react, Ravi, seated silently until now, stood up. Without hesitation, he drew his gun and shot his father. Simba fell to the ground, his eyes wide with shock and betrayal. The room erupted in chaos as Ravi turned to the Russian, sealing their partnership with a nod.
"I'll be the king now," Ravi said, his voice cold and determined.
News of Simba's death soon reached Jack, and though he didn't show it, the loss cut him deeply. Simba had been more than just a mentor; he had loved and cared for Jack like a son, perhaps even more than his own. But Jack didn't cry. Instead, he drowned his grief in alcohol, glass after glass.
Rimmy, sitting beside him, watched with concern. "I thought you'd mourn over Simba's death."
Jack glanced at her, his eyes red but dry. "Everyone mourns differently. I do it through alcohol. Ravi does it by spending time in bars. At least I'm better than him."
But Jack had his suspicions. Ravi's sudden rise to power felt too convenient. One evening, he decided to confront Ravi and invited him to a bar for a seemingly casual talk. By coincidence, Mayumi was there too, sitting at a distance, unaware of what was about to unfold.
As the conversation between Jack and Ravi heated up, Jack's suspicions were confirmed. Ravi's arrogance and greed were clear, and Jack realized the full extent of his betrayal. Jack opened his jacket than his shirt and, In a swift and brutal move, Jack killed Ravi, the man who had murdered Simba for power.
Mayumi, watching from a distance, was horrified. She didn't know the full story, didn't understand the betrayal or the grief Jack had carried. All she saw was the brutal, cold-blooded killing.
As Mayumi stormed towards Jack, her eyes wide with disbelief and horror, she couldn't contain her anger. "Jack, what have you done?" Her voice cracked, a mixture of shock and rage. "You killed him. You just... killed him."
Jack stood there, his face grim, his eyes cold and distant. "He deserved it," he replied in a low voice, avoiding her gaze.
"Deserved it?" Mayumi's voice rose, her fists trembling at her sides. "How could you say that? You killed your own brother-someone who shared your blood! And for what? Revenge? Power? You're nothing but a monster now."
