"Wah di fuck yuh mean yuh kill him? Why on earth would you kill him?! And fuck him up suh? yuh deeven do Kyle dat!" I scream into the phone, not caring if all Donald Trump a hear e, as I blinked away the tears that clouded my eyes.

I've never been one for murder... I hate murder, I hate when blood is spilt, matter of fact, I hate violence itself, hence why I only fight in self defense.

He sighed before speaking, "Mia come over, okay?"

Kmt.

"Whatever, Kairo." I hardly got out before hearing a pounding on a door, but it wasn't mine.

That was from Kai's end.

"A wah di-" he spoke, supposedly opening the door, before he got cut off.

"Kairo Mullings, you're under arrest for the murder of Kyle and Jerome Davis," a voice announced in the background.

WHAT THE FUCK?

"Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law," the officer continued, his voice booming through Kairo's phone, slicing through the air like a blade.

My heart dropped into my stomach. "Kai?! Kai?!" I shouted, desperate, but all I could hear was the officer's commanding tone and the sound of shuffling as they restrained Kairo. My grip tightened on the phone, my pulse racing, panic settling deep in my bones. This couldn't be happening. I never thought things would spiral out of control like this.

This was bound to happen though, so I'm not even surprised.

As the cops slapped the cuffs on my wrists, I tried to keep my voice steady, carefully thinking about what to say to Xanai. I didn't want her to worry more than she already was.

"I'll talk to you when I can, okay, mama? Love yuh yer?" I managed to get out, trying to sound calm, even though my heart was pounding.

I could still hear the panic in her voice from before—Kai?! Kai?!—and I wished I could tell her everything was going to be alright. But right now, I wasn't even sure how all this was going to go down.
