It had been days after Riley and Nuha had a conversation. Riley's busy schedule kept her away from her thoughts. It was a calm evening when Nuha came to Riley's place. Nuha had a big tea to spill, Riley knew something was up. Nuha was not good in hiding. Riley waited for Nuha to speak up and went on with a normal conversation. It was not the two of them there, Riley's mum was present. Riley's mum knew all of Riley's friends and whoever Riley was close with. She liked Nuha a lot, she treated her as her own daughter, well after all Nuha was her sister's daughter. Riley and nuha didn't wanted the elders to know what they talked, so they spoke in codes. That's something most of the girls do, keeping code names and talking in codes.
Soon after Riley's mum went out, Nuha gave a weird look to Riley. "C'mon girl what's the thing you're hiding?" Nuha winked at her and said. "Yeah, um..u see..this guy..that day..um..him.." Riley was confused with her words.
"Let me guess..you caused a problem?"
"No, you have a problem." That was unexpected. Riley thought for a moment and said,"gimme a sec, it's another Tuesday, what's the point? I didn't do any blind things this week."
Nuha gave another wink and said, "someone unexpected likes u..uhh..like..um..he said um.." Nuha seriously wanted to laugh at Riley's weird expression, but she couldn't."So this was the only way you could ruin my evening? "
Riley began making coffee for herself, she didn't ask Nuha if she wanted a cup. She knew her answer would be NO. Riley always liked strong coffee and added lots of sugar.
"So are you mad?" Asked Nuha.
Riley preferred not to speak. Nuha went near her and saw her adding lots of spoonfull deities into her coffee. "Shall I ask you something Riley?"
"Is it about my coffee, then no." Said Riley. "Nop, Not about your coffee."
" I still say no" Nuha still asks something. " why are you always so secretive?"
Riley replied with a question, " why are you so intrusive?"
Nuha didn't reply. They both kept quite. After Riley was done making her cup of coffee. She asked curiously, "so..who's this guy?"
Nuha looked puzzled." Ooh, that earlier one..uhhmm" Riley gave her a wierd look and sipped her coffee. "It's ivan."
Riley was amused. This was something unexpected.
"Ivan? The guy from that day?"
"Yeh"
