The Baili siblings and Ye Yun finally reached Tianqi after few days on the road. Few obstacles on their way such as bandits and attacking beggars but it was nothing to Ye Yun. He can fight those offs effortlessly.
"Finally.." Xuehua mumbled to herself and stretched her arms
"Where do we go now?" Luoxue asked her oldest brother
Dongjun thought for awhile, he's not sure where to bring the three of them. Jixia academy or the imperial court to meet Xiao Yan? He huff a bit and look around.
"Xuexue and Huahua can go to the imperial court first." Dongjun inform with a smile on his pale face
"As for Yun ge.."
"Let's go to Jixia academy first to meet shixiong.." Dongjun said and drag Ye Yun with him
Ye Yun can only follow the younger and let himself got dragged. He needs to get used to this kind of action from now on.
"Calm down Dongjun, I'm not going anywhere." Ye Yun said, chuckling
Dongjun can only awkwardly smile at the older man and slowly lead the older to his academy. Maybe he just too excited to meet his shixiong and introduce Ye Yun to them.
"Yun ge, you must be ready to handle my shixiong.. one of them just talks a lot.. hehe" Dongjun said as he scratched his face
He wouldn't want to know how his shixiong introduce themselves to Ye Yun or worst, how they judge Ye Yun. They are good at judging someone new.
"I can bear them, I used to it so don't worry." Ye Yun response with a smile on his face

"Dongbaaaa you finally here." Lei Mengsha screamed dramatically as he hug his youngest shidi
"Lei ge, don't be so dramatic can you?" Dongjun asked, laughing at Lei Mengsha's dramatic-ness
The other shixiong can only smile and shake their heads at the scene before them. Lei Mengsha can be so dramatic when it's comes to Dongjun.
"Who's this, Dongba?" Liu ye asked, referring to Ye Yun
Dongjun break free from Lei Mengsha and look at Ye Yun. He's trying to find a good reason why did Ye Yun looks a bit uneasy now.
"He's Ye Yun.. my bodyguard? I prefer him to be my friend." Dongjun said with a smile
"Your friend.. your new friend?" Gu Jianmen asked, try to recall his memories about Dongjun's friends, yes he never know this one friend of his shidi
"My new friend." Dongjun smile cheekily
Liu Ye and Mo Xiaohei looked at each other, knowing who's the 'new friend' before them. They know Ye Yun is Ye Dingzhi but they know by judging Ye Yun, he won't harm their youngest shidi. Purely to be Dongjun's friend and bodyguard?
"Ye Yun, I hope you can protect our Dongba as his bodyguard and treat him as your friend, fragile friend." Luoxuan said as he fan himself with his handfan
Xiao Ruofeng on the other hand just nod at Ye Yun as approving response. Seems like the others accepted Ye Dingzhi as Ye Yun in Dongjun's eyes. Not the cruel Ye Dingzhi. They were not oblivion in this kind of matter. They know Ye Yun true identity but decided to let it slide for now. There's no 'bad' aura in Ye Yun to harm Dongjun.
"You know what will happen if you hurt Jun'er right?" A voice spoke, walking to them with different aura
It's Xiao Ruoyan, the oldest prince or basically the heir of the throne?
They all greet Ruoyan by lowering their heads, including Ye Yun. Nonetheless, he still need to show his respect. He's in Tianqi after all.
"I dare not, prince." Ye Yun answered
Ruoyan look at Ye Yun from head to toe, Ye Yun's appearance now really different from before. He always in his black hanfu as Tianwaitian's leader but now as Baili Dongjun's bodyguard. He smirked and nod his head. He need to keep Ye Yun under his watch.
"Ruoyan ge, have you met Xuexue and Huahua?!" Dongjun asked as he clings on Ruoyan's arm
Ruoyan smile and pat Dongjun's head,
"I sent them to their resting pavilion. They are fine, don't worry too much. Worry about your health now okay?"
Dongjun hummed and nod his head. He know he can trust his oldest cousin. His younger siblings would out of control if the wrong person who controls them. Luoxue and Xuehua can be a threat to society and enemy to others. As he said, deadly duo.
"I will personally teach them how to control their inner power. As for you, stay here and rest enough." Ruoyan said with serious tone
"I know.. I will." Dongjun said, pursing his lips
Ruoyan turn his head to look at Ye Yun and communicate with eyes, as if that's the only way to communicate now.
"I trust this kid to you Ye Yun. Don't break my trust or you'll never be safe." Ruoyan threatened and leave the academy
Dongjun can only pout and sighed. Ruoyan's day won't be completed if he don't threaten anyone. He knows the oldest really well. He looked at his 7 shixiong and smile a bit. He decided to go back to his pavilion to rest, not forgetting to bid goodbye to them.
"Yun ge, what do you think of my shixiong and Ruoyan ge?" Dongjun asked, out of curiosity
"They are really overprotective over you, Dongjun." Ye Yun answered, chuckling
"But it's make sense, you are their youngest shidi, it's make sense to make them overprotective over you. You are precious to them. Even to Baili Luoxue and Baili Xuehua, they are still child but the urge to protect you already in them." Ye Yun continued
"How.. how bout you Yun ge?" Dongjun asked as he walks a bit faster than before
"You are precious to me, Baili Dongjun. I don't care if we just met. You still precious person to me, you don't deserve any kind of pains." Ye Yun monologue to himself and fasten his pace to keep up with the younger
"I will protect you with all of me. Even if one day you hate me." Ye Yun answered with a smile
Dongjun stop walking and keep repeating Ye Yun's last sentence. What does he mean by 'even if one day you hate me'? He slowly look at Ye Yun and trying to find answers on Ye Yun's face expression.
"Don't think too much for now, Dongjun. You need to get rest. Don't burden yourself now."
Dongjun mentally sighed. His new friend makes him confused. Ye Yun will protect him but he also wants to know more about Ye Yun.
"I want to know more about you Yun ge.. but it seems like there's barrier to blocked our further interaction." Dongjun monologue to himself and lowered his head
