"Baili Dongjun!" Ye Yun called as his snap his fingers in front of Dongjun

The younger was spacing out for few minutes now. Something might be burdening Dongjun's mind.

"Ah? Yun ge, what is it?" Dongjun asked as he rub his eyes to get better visions

"You've been spacing out for 7 minutes. What are you thinking?" Ye Yun asked as he sat beside Dongjun

Dongjun look at Ye Yun and mentally sighed, he doesn't know what to think or what to feel. He's confused. Should he ask Ye Yun? Why does his shixiong don't bother to introduce themselves to Ye Yun? Does Ye Yun knows them? Is there something that Ye Yun is hiding from him?

He's curious but also feel bad for asking this kind of question. He shake his head and smile, he decided not to ask.

"Nothing wrong, Yun ge.. I'm a bit tired. Can I sleep?" Dongjun asked

"Of course, you need to rest. You don't look well." Ye Yun said, nodding his head and lead Dongjun to the room

"Dongjun, I'll be going for awhile. Just rest alright?" Ye Yun said and leave the pavilion

"Ye Dingzhi. What do you actually want from our Dongjun?" Xiao Ruoyan asked without any expression

Ye Yun currently at the imperial court to meet Xiao Ruoyan. He has something to discuss with the oldest prince but the topic now always on the Baili young master.

"Ruoyan, I'm here in Tianqi not to cause you trouble. Rest assured. I won't harm Dongjun." Ye Yun answered nonchalantly

Yes, they both know each other. In fact, was really close to each other. But some event made them far off, the main reason is Ye Yun becomes Tianwaitian's lord and refused to stay back in Tianqi. It made Ruoyan don't like Ye Yun. But now, Ye Yun shows up in Tianqi as Dongjun's friend and bodyguard?

"I need to tell you that, Tianwaitian won't attack Tianqi without my command. They can't do anything." Ye Yun continue

"How can I trust you, Ye Yun? I feel like I can't trust you anymore. I only trust you to protect Dongjun cause I know you won't hurt someone like him right? Protect him, don't worry about other things. We were friends back then, now we were not. Don't mention this to anyone and just focus on Dongjun." Ruoyan said with stern voice

Ye Yun rolled his eyes and left the imperial court without saying anything. The oldest prince really got on his nerves till now. It's neverending circle. Ruoyan don't trust him but trusted him to protect Dongjun? Ironic.

"What a bastard. I won't ruin Tianqi and Baili Dongjun, Xiao Ruoyan." He mumbles to himself

He obviously don't care if his action now made Ruoyan upset. All he care now is Dongjun. The younger boy that he slowly fallen to.

Dongjun on the other hand can't sleep anymore after his Yun ge left him alone and decided to stroll around Tianqi without Ye Yun or his shixiong. He look around and smile.

"Should I buy something~?" He mumbles to himself and stop at a stall that sells tanghulu

"Sir, how much is this?" He asked

"¥2 for 1, young master!" The seller response

"I'll take one, sir!" Dongjun said excitedly

A few seconds before he could pay, someone already put the money on the table. He turn his head only to see Ye Yun with tilted head looking back at him.

"Aren't you supposed to sleep? Baili Dongjun?" Ye Yun asked and crossed his arms to his chest

"Uh.. hehehe I can't sleep after you left me alone, ge." Dongjun said with a cheeky smile

"Fair enough, now let's go back before your shixiong start to search for you." Ye Yun said as he drag Dongjun with him

Dongjun pout and just listen to Ye Yun, at least he got his tanghulu.

"Yun ge, do you want to try this tanghulu? It's delicious!" Dongjun asked excitedly

Ye Yun look at Dongjun and smile, he gonna accept the offer even though he don't like sweet foods. But he'll try for the sake of Dongjun. He took a bit and furrowed his eyebrow, sweet and sour?

"Dongjun ah, why there's two different taste?" Ye Yun ask

"Taste sweet and sour?" Dongjun asked

Ye Yun only nod his head as response. The "sweet" food Dongjun had remind him of back when he was a child. He was all alone but then there's a kid dragged him to buy something that tastes just like this.

"Tanghulu always sweet and sour, Yun ge. It's my favourite!" Dongjun said, smiling happily

"I always buy tanghulu since then. It's too delicious, can't stop eating it." Dongjun continue

At this point, Ye Yun had a bit idea of who was that kid. It might be the Baili Dongjun in front of him now. Dongjun maybe forgot but he's not forgetting his childhood memories. It's too precious.

"Let's go back to the academy now, Dongjun. You need to rest. And maybe eat meds?" Ye Yun asked, furrowing his eyebrow

Dongjun sigh and nod his head. He can't refuse to eat meds right? His shixiong will start nagging if he refused. That will be bad.

"Dongjun? What's with the sudden visit?" Liu Yue asked as he read some book, not bother to turn to look at the youngest

"Liu Yue ge no fun... I was going to make you scare!" Dongjun complain

Liu Yue put the book down and signal Dongjun to sit beside him. A bit curious on how he can meet the Ye Dingzhi.

"Dongba, I'm curious about your new friend. How did you both know each other?" Liu Yue asked and pour some tea for him and Dongjun

Dongjun recall his memory and smile a bit.

"I was searching for Xuexue and Huahua but I got tired. I accidentally stepped on his outer clothes. And we talked for awhile. That's how I met him." Dongjun explained

Liu Yue nod his head. Indeed Dongjun can't remember his childhood anymore. And ironically, Ye Dingzhi don't even try to remind Dongjun of their childhoods together. That's mean Ye Dingzhi don't have any bad intentions, only want to be friend with Dongjun again.

Mayhaps Dingzhi travel to Qiandong only to "accidentally" meet Dongjun? Dongjun can't remember his childhood cause he got a few nights high fever after he can't find his "friend" who named Ye Dingzhi on the street.

"Dongba, why are you here? Aren't you supposed to rest?" Liu Yue asked

"I'm bored staying at the pavilion. I decided to make a little trip to visit on shixiong. You are the first one!" Dongjun explained, full with energy

Liu Yue chuckle and nod his head. The youngest always so random. That's the normal side of Baili Dongjun that he knew.
