Essie and I are back home for the next couple of days, and all the girls are getting ready to go to Australia, which I should probably be doing, but I've never liked packing much.

So.... I'm on my way back 'home' to hang out with Es, Luke and Trish, and I'm hoping that Essie won't get too mad when she finds the note I left her in the morning.

In my defence, my safest option was to sneak out after she went to sleep and take the train back, but I'm not saying it was my smartest idea.

However, this way I avoid any arguments with her, but at the same time I'll probably be dead in less than 24 hours.

At least I can spend those hours with the people I love, doing the things I love, that might possibly kill me.

"LEE" Esme screams as I step out of the train, running up to me and jumping into my arms, which causes us to fall over since her big ass has no business trying to make me catch her.

"Jeez Es, it's only been a bloody week mate, I'm still 1,5m, and I'm still not able to carry your fat ass self" I tell her as I push her off of me.

"I missed you too mate. School's been utter hell without you" she says, stretching her hand out to help me up.

"Is Mr. Harris still being a cock sucking coward and a life draining demon?" I ask her, and she nods.

"Yeah. He gave Luke detention for asking a question about the bloody subject" she tells me, and I roll my eyes.

"Like I've always said" I say, getting a weird look in return.

"What?" she asks, and I shrug.

"I don't know, just always wanted to say that" I say, which makes her laugh "Anyway, do you mind if I crash at yours tonight. My parents don't like me and I didn't exactly tell Essie that I was coming" I tell her, making her laugh and nod her head.

"Sure thing mate. Hope you don't mind though, I kinda told Trish I'd stop by tonight" she says, and I nod.

We make our way to Trish's house, stopping at the corner shop to grab some beer for the night, which was a lot easier than I thought.

I didn't even need my fake ID.

On the other hand, Stan, the guy who works there, is known to give zero fucks, and he'd probably sell a gun to a toddler if they offered him enough money.

I know it sounds concerning, but at least we got beer.

And vodka.

"How'd it go at camp?" Trish asks me.

"It's alright. Not much happened except a couple experiments and making fun of the girls, but I did get to join training. Something about my energy levels, or some shit. Oh, and I also met another version of me, which was cool. How about you?" I ask her before passing Es another beer.

"Sounds like you" she laughs "I've been good though. School's been boring and training's absolute shit without you" she tells me, rolling her eyes at the last part.

"Awww, you miss me" I tease, but she just laughs.

"Nah, that's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying that the team's fucking awful, which isn't anything new, but Holly and her minions are doing my head in. The only thing they do is gossip about who's with who" she tells me, and here I was thinking she misses me.

Ouch...

"You have a special way of showing your love" I say sarcastically, making Es laugh.

"Don't tell me you're going soft now Lee. You know we love you and all that" Es says with a little cheeky smile.
