Ch. 4

I stood at the bar cleaning glasses as they were brought to me and leaving them on a tray to be refilled when needed. V had just dropped off a load when she slammed right into N causing him to drop his load of glasses, none of them breaking thankfully. I propped my head up on my palm as I watched the two stutter and blush at each other while trying to clean. 'Adorable little shits...' I thought as J walked up and socked N for tripping. "Watch where- Oh hi Tessa!" I turned to see Tess standing there with a drone behind her. "Oh another one!?" J groaned as the small drone girl peered out from behind Tess.

I woke up in the pod with a start, "This isn't where I passed out..." I groaned as I looked around. V was still locked in her chair, N was sulking in a corner and three skeletons wearing formal clothes were sitting in the other corner. "Well? The fuck happened? Where's Zi?" I asked N and he sighed before turning to me. "We got the creature, it's dead but Uzi is....scared of us. When I went to check on the two of you she recoiled and fell over trying to get away from me." I nodded slowly "Makes sense, I mean she did just see what happens to us if we die, knowing that is in the three of us would make anyone wary." He sighed plopped down next to me, "She's my best friend, beside you that is, and seeing her do that it...hurt." I hugged him gently. "I know mate, things are getting strange ain't they?" He nodded and put his head in his hands, "I got a memory this morning while I slept..." I looked at him surprised, but then it clicked "Manor, you and V bumping into each other, etc." He looked at me shocked "How'd you know?" I stood and stretched "Had the same one, now we just gotta figure out how to get more." V piped up after this "Please promise me you two and that purple thing won't do that." The worry in her voice was heavy, "N, Caitlyn, let me out of these chains and I'll go kill what we need to survive, just the three of us." I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Excuse you?" The venom in my voice made her flinch, N got extremely nervous, "Cait hang on-" I put my hand up to shut him up. "You be quiet." I turn to V and poked her in the sternum "You don't get to ask shit from us, N is too much of a softie to confront you for this but I'll be damned if let the shit you've been doing slide." Her eyes fell as she knew exactly what I was talking about, "You don't get to ignore me and N, sometimes even ridiculing him, and then act like you care about us. Just cause I'm getting my memories back doesn't mean they're overwriting the ones already there." She grit her teeth before glaring back at me. "You don't think I know that I screwed up?!" I grinned at her, there's the Vivian I know. I stopped in my tracks...wait...Vivian?

My head started to hurt again for the umpteenth time causing me to back away from V and steady myself on the wall. "That's not great..." I groaned and gently touched my head with my free hand. "Look I can't deal with you right now-"

Off went my head, "I'm just trying to do what's best for us, hopefully you'll understand and forgive me for this one day." V left while grabbing a dress from a corpse in the corner. With the last bits of connection I had I noticed N had lost his head as well. Fuckin V.....

I once again came to in the pod, "I really gotta stop getting knocked unconscious..." I looked around and saw N also waking up, "We gotta stop V!" He yelled as he shot up from the ground he went to immediately leave but stopped at the matching tuxedos that the other two skeletons were wearing. "Dapper buddies...." I face palmed "We don't have time for that mate." He grabbed one and tossed the other to me with a small grin "Dapper buddiessssss!" I sighed and changed into the Tux which fit a little snug but damn did I looked good. "Alright I give you props, we look rad as fuck." He squealed and we flew off to the bunker.

Once we landed we saw Uzi on the ground in front of us. "Caitlyn?! N?!" We looked at her "Heya Zi! You look-" she cut me off "What are you- something's happening" N popped up "We could help! But you probably don't want us around..." she immediately stopped him "No! no... I don't mind your help..." N grabbed us both into a hug. "DAPPER BUDDIES!!!" As we entered I put my hand on her shoulder, "You look great Zi, really great." I winked as I walked in with N, I heard her stutter and grumble before walking up next to me with a massive blush on her face. I heard her mutter to me "You look really good too..." making me smile.
