The Fisher's just moved in and started unpacking most of the boxes.
Sal in his room going through box after box, eventually finding his gear boy.
"Oh, I was looking for it everywhere."
He picks it up and puts it into his pocket, leaving his room to go talk to his dad.
"Hey, kiddo. Decided to take a break from unpacking?"
Sal just nods in response.
"That's not a bad idea. We've been at it for a while now. Maybe I'll take a break myself."
Sal was thinking for a bit before asking.
"How are you liking the new apartment?"
"It’s nice, I guess. Yeah, I think it’ll be good for us."
Henry paused before continuing. "Why don't you look around a bit? Introduce yourself to some neighbors?"Sal, not having other plans, agreed and left the apartment.
As he started walking towards the elevator, he noticed a cop standing in front of 403."Hey, uh, officer? Can I ask you what happened in there?
The Cop not want to talk to some kid answered in an annoyed voice.
"Go away, kid! You're not supposed to be here."Sal thought about pushing a bit, but he wasn't really in the mood for getting it on with the police.
So he just went one floor below meeting Lisa for the first time.Lisa noticed him stopping in front of her.
"Oh hey! You must be the new kid. I'm Lisa, I take care of this place.""Hi, my name's Sal. I was just looking around, introducing myself."
He paused for a second.
"What happened in 403?""I'm sorry honey, that you and your dad moved in at this time. But don't let it scare you, just try not to get involved, ok?"
Sal nods in response.
"Have you met Larry? He's my son, we live in the basement."
"No, I haven't met him yet."
Sal said back shortly."He's around your age. You guys would come along great, I can tell.. Oh, right, you need a key card to go down in the basement."
She pulled out a spare key card out her pocket and handed it to Sal.
"Here, you can take this one. I have some spare ones."Sal thanked Lisa for the card and went down the elevator to the basement.
He knocked at the door, but no one answered.
He noticed the door was unlocked, so he went in.First, he went toward the kitchen, thinking there were the bedrooms. But what he found instead was a tall shadow standing in the corner of the kitchen looking at him with his glowing bright red eyes.
Sal, taken aback, closed his eyes, shook his head, thinking he was imagining things. As he opened his eyes, the kitchen was empty.
"What was that?"
Sal said to himself. As he turned to the door next to him, he noticed it being a bathroom, so he turned around, walking the other way.
He stopped in front of the first door with a sign reading 'Keep Out'.
He knocked, hearing a quite low voice telling him to come in.As he entered, he saw Larry sitting in one of the two beanbags.
"You must be Larry? I'm Sal, Sal Fisher. I just moved in with my dad."
"Yeah, nice to meet you, dude."
Larry stood up to shake Sals hand.
"Nice mask.""It's a prosthetic."
"Fuck, sorry man. Sal, right?"
Larry quickly responded."It's fine. You can call me Sally Face."
"Sally Face?"
"Friends call me that, although I don't really know how many friends I really got, but still."
They talked for a while about the apartment complex.
"By the way, what happened in 403?"
Larry shushed him.
"Be quiet about it. The murderer is still in the house!"Sal is more on edge now.
"Wha- how do you know?""I saw it happening, dude. I was there. It was Charley, I swear."
"Charley? The one on the 2nd floor?"
"Yeah, dude. I saw him slit her throat because of a glitter pony. He's crazy about them."
"So what do we do?"
"Wait, you believe me?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I?"
"I have a plan."
