It's been almost 2 years since the first VK's have come to Auradon, and a lot has changed. Most of it for the better but sometimes I miss how it was before. I used to be one of Audrey's best friends, but when she started spouting hate about how the villain kids are just like their parents, things changed. She refused to give them a chance, and when Ben dumped her for Mal the dislike grew and was just plain mean. I tried everything I could to talk some sense into her but at some point, you must quit. After all, you can't help someone who doesn't want it.
After coronation Ben made me his Advisor. Last year when I went with the VK's to save Ben after being kidnapped by Uma and her pirates, I proposed a way to help all the kids I saw on the isle. I have been planning and working towards it since Ben made me his advisor, but progress was slow moving. Evie was a big help and her program to have more VK's come to Auradon which is great, but will take a long time. So, the program proposal I have been working on for the past year is to start going to the Isle and open a free clinic. They don't really have anyone with proper medical training over there to help them.
As I finish packing all the medical supplies, I think I will need in one large duffel bag, a loud knock on the door followed by 4 footsteps. "You ready to go, Hope?" Carlos comes to my side and stops me from zipping my bag closed. I turn, opening my arms wide for the inevitable group hug that comes with knowing these 4.
"Yeah, all packed and stoked to get to work." I say, "I just need to change into something that doesn't scream, 'I'm from Auradon, Please steal from me.' Be right back." I run upstairs to my small bedroom and change into something that would make me blend in with the other kids on the isle. When I finish with my look, I bounce down the stairs.
The VK's all awe and wolf whistle at me and Jay meets me at the bottom of the stairs holding a hand out to twirl me "You look smokin Hope." my gaze goes to my shoes, my cheeks turning red.

Evie pulls me out of Jay's grip, "Well don't you make bad look good
I smile again at the 4 of them. "Thanks guys, now let's get this show on the road." I say while grabbing my duffel bag and backpack heading to the door but when none of them move, I turn around. "What, why aren't you moving towards the door."
Mal steps towards me holding out a purple box to me. "We all think what you're doing is great, so we all wanted to get you something," Mal says while I open the box.
Inside was a teal coloured stethoscope with a rainbow chrome headset and bell. It was beautiful. I place the box in my duffle and turn to them, opening my arms again. "You guys are so sweet, I'm gonna miss you guys... but I can't miss you if we never get there in the first place so can we please go now?" I say and laugh, the others joining me and we all head out to the limo towards the Isle.
Once we get to the Isle everyone splits up while I follow Carlos to the place that will be my home for the next week. I drop everything off at their old hideout. No one has been here, so we all figured this was the safest place to leave everything. I look around and take a big sigh in relief that I'm finally here. Carlos comes to my side "I know it's a little grimy here but it's the safest place on the isle" Carlos says.
