Hope (Harry Hook Love)

Chapter 3

When we got back to the clinic and gave the boy his crutches, he and his sister left swiftly with the promise of being careful and coming back in 6 weeks to look at his leg. The team and I were putting the final touches on the large room while Harry was ordering the pirates to move the rest of the mattress and furniture into the other small rooms. At around 7 we had finally finished the whole setup, and everyone was exhausted. I called everyone into the large room. "Hey guys, the first thing I want to do is to thank each and every one of you for all of your hard work you put in today. I didn't expect to be ready to take people in at all today, let alone have an emergency patient in. I thank you for helping me make my dream a reality. Harry and the pirates I want to thank you guys for coming even though some of you may not have originally wanted to. Tomorrow I can do a training course for those who are looking to get a job here at 9 there will be some food and you can all have the afternoon free tomorrow. At the end of the week the night before the new VK's go to Auradon I will host a big dinner as a thank you to you all so feel free to join me then... Umm thanks again to you all and have a good night." Once I finish talking everyone claps before splitting up the only ones left with me were Quinn, Gill, and Harry.

Quinn comes up to me and hugs me close "Thank you for doing this for all of us here. You showed me that even though we aren't in Auradon doesn't mean that we are forgotten. You remember that we are here and need help. I think you are what the Isle needs. But I also want to let you know that I will be trying my best to learn as much as I can from you." When I pull away from him, I can finally see that there is the reminisce of a black eye that is fading but I can tell.

I reach my hand up to gently touch his eye "Quinn is this happening at home?" I ask, he just looks down at his shoes. "Hey, it's cool. Just know that if you ever need a safe space to just forget about what's going on my door is always open." Quinn quickly hugs me again.

"Can I walk you home? The Isle isn't the safest place and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you." Quinn says.

I open my mouth to respond but Harry steps in between us pushing Quinn back abruptly. "Nothing is going to happen to Hope, she has me. So why don't yee go run back to your dear sweet mummy. I bet she would hate it if ye were late." Harry is now in front of me blocking Quinn from my vision completely. I try to take a step around Harry, but he grabs my arm.

I rest my arm on Harry's shoulder. "Harry, it's cool. Quinn just offered to walk me home." I look between both boys to find them glaring at each other. I place my right hand on Harry's cheek forcing him to look at me "WILL YOU LOOK AT ME!!!!" Harry finally breaks his gaze from Quinn. I smirk a bit and turn so my back is now facing him and looking at Quinn. "Sorry about that, umm maybe tomorrow I am actually staying here for a while longer, thanks though that was a really nice offer."

I walk away from both boys grabbing Gil dragging him into Carlos House. I start to work on unpacking the majority of medical equipment into the shelves. Gil sits on the large bed watching me unpack everything. "Hey Hope, do you really think that this is going to work. Like what if some of the parents come and try to stop you. Couldn't you be putting yourself into a lot of danger doing this?" I stop what I'm doing and look at Gil. I never really thought about what the villains would do if they don't approve of the clinic.

I sit down next to Gil on the bed and lean my head on his shoulder. "I guess I never really thought of what the villains would do if they didn't like it. I just wanted to help everyone that was stuck here including your parents. I mean I understand that they did bad things and I think that they deserve to face the consequences that come from their actions, but I don't think that locking them away forever is teaching them anything. I think there was a better way to go about it."
