Riley's 17th Birthday

(December 12th) 

I went over to Riley's house to party with my friends. I was sitting on a recliner in a corner. Riley came and sat on the arm of the chair. Riley: What's wrong. Is it you and Noah? Me: No. Riley: Tell me. Me: I...I'm pregnant. Riley stood up. Riley: is it....? Me: yes it has to be. I haven't been with no one else. Do the math. Riley: I'm going to fucking kill him. Does anyone else know? Me: No......I'm sorry to tell you on your birthday. Riley: It's ok. (She hugged me.) Me: I'll tell everyone else when the time is right. Which it will never be. (Riley and me went into the bathroom. I took two more pregnancy test just to make sure. And sure enough I am.) Me: don't tell no one. Riley: I promise. Are you going to keep it? Me: No clue but if I am I don't want ''them'' to know. Riley: yeah I can see why, you aren't going to abort it are you? Me: oh no no. If I have to I'll just give it up. Riley: good....we should get back to the party. Me: yeah true. (Noah texted me. ''Haven't heard from you all weekend. Is everything ok?'') Me: no. Noah: talk to me. Me: ok meet me at Riley's house. Noah: ok be there in a few. (I walked out to the living room and told Riley that Noah is coming here so I could talk to him. I gave her a hug and wait by the door for Noah to get there. Noah texted me that he was there. I walked outside.) Noah: What's wrong? (I breathed in, looked up at him then down to the ground.) Me: you should sit down for this. (He sat on his car.) Me: Please don't hate me. Noah: I could never. Me: Just know before I tell you this I really like you..... Noah: There's another guy....I get it. Me: No. Noah: you want to end whatever we have? Me: no...no Noah just listen. I'm pregnant. Noah: what no seriously what is it? Me: I am being serious. Noah: oh God you are serious. When did this happen? Am I your side guy? (He started to raise his voice.) Me: November 1st and no you're not my side guy. That's horrible. I can explain. Noah: please do. Me: ok this might be a long story. So my friend Cora at the time wanted Riley and me to go to a party with her. I never really liked parties where I didn't know most of the people. Anyways we got there and I knew some of the people that were there. Her cousins and her brother. We partied hard until really late into the morning. I was so far gone Cora took me into the bedroom to sleep. I passed out cold. The next thing I knew.....(I was in tears.) I felt someone behind me. I turned my head and there was Cora's little brother Brody. I was way to weak to do anything. I kept passing out. I kept crying and crying. In the morning I grabbed my things, got Riley and took off. I told Riley that day what had happened. A week later I told Cora how her brother took advantage of me. All she said to me was ''I know Brody and you did stuff he told me that next day that it happened. It takes two to do stuff Stella.'' I told her "I know but I was drinking and he wasn't and I was passed out. I'm sorry I didn't tell you then I was so scared.'' She blamed me for the whole damn thing. That was the last time we have spoken. I never want to talk to her again. I lost a lot of friends over that but when they knew what actually happened they apologized to me. I forgave them because that's what good people do. I didn't know I was pregnant until two days ago. I figure I'm a month along. (Noah grabbed my hands.) Noah: Why didn't you tell me? (I raised my voice.) Me: when would I have told you? The first day we met or our first date when? Yeah we would be out at dinner all happy then I would say ''oh yeah I forgot to mention about a month ago I got taken advantage of while passed out drunk.''  Yeah that's what all guys want to hear on first dates. I would of scared you off for sure. I'm a handful and I get if you want to leave. I'm used to being alone and it's ok. (I kept crying and I fell on my knees. Noah got up and held me. Luke and Lauren ran over to us.) Lauren: is everything ok over here? Riley yelled ''give them a few minutes.'' Lauren: we'll be over there. (I nodded my head.) Me: If I didn't tell you now I honestly don't know when I was going to tell you Noah. I don't want us to have any secrets no more and this right here was a huge secret and I'm sorry about it. Noah: I don't care what kind of baggage came along with you. Your past is your past. IF you have secrets keep them, it's fine. I like you Stella Bennett even though we've only had a couple dates. It'll take good care of you until the end of time. I promise. So Stella will you be my girlfriend now? I've been ready to ask you since I first saw you. I knew you were the one. (I smiled big.) Me: yes. (He wiped off my tears, kissed me and helped me up.) Noah: we will figure this out. Me: yeah let's hope....umm will you meet me at my house? Noah: yeah. Me: I need a few minutes to say bye to everyone. Noah: yeah that's fine. See you there. (I gave him a long hug and kiss and he got into his car and drove off. Lauren and Luke were standing by the door.) Me: Come on I need to call a meeting. (I also got Riley and Carson. We went into Riley's bedroom to talk.) Carson: what is this about? Riley: I know but Stella you don't have to do this. Me: I know but you guys are my family. Just keep this a secret. Well here it goes....I'm pregnant. (They had blank faces.) Carson: is it Noah's? Me: no, no. Lauren: Who's is it then? (I looked down and told them the story. Afterwards they were pissed.) Carson: I'm going to kill him. Me: don't it's not worth it. I'm not even going to tell Brody that I'm pregnant. Luke: I'm guessing Noah knows. Me: yeah I was telling him when y'all came outside. (They all hugged me.) Carson: don't worry we have your back. Me: good I need people on my side right now....sorry to spoil your night but I have to get going. I got a certain guy named Noah waiting for me at my house. See y'all tomorrow. Riley: drive home safe. Text me later love you. Me: l love you too. (I walked out and went to my car and drove home. I got home around 10.) Lauren: poor Stella. Riley: hey she don't need pity right now. She needs support. Lauren: if I don't kill him, her dad and brother will. (They all went back to the party.) Once I was parked I got out and Noah got out. Me: Will you stay with me tonight? Noah: of course I will hun. (I unlocked the front door and went straight to my room. I changed into my pjs and laid down with Noah. We stayed up late talking about this. Noah: are you going to tell him? Me: No. Noah: why? Me: he was the one that took advantage of me so why should I tell him. And plus if I do keep this baby he would try and take the baby from me and I don't want that. Noah: yeah true. Do you know when you will tell your parents? Me: hopefully soon.....Noah you don't have to stay with me. I know this is all going to get even harder now since that I'm pregnant. I will understand if you wanted to leave. Noah: I'm in it for the long run now. (I fell asleep in his arms.)
