(December 23rd)
I got woken up by my heart beating fast. It had scared me. Noah had walked back into the room. I was sitting up breathing hard. Noah: bad dream? Me: no my heart is beating fast. What time is it? Noah: 10:30. I didn't want to wake you because I knew you were tired and plus I know you were getting sick and peeing a lot. Me: yeah true. Wanna take a shower? Noah: sure sounds fun. (I got up and we walked to the bathroom. We both stripped and got into the shower. I had my hands on my Noah's body.) Me: I was going to ask you the other day and didn't but how'd you get this scar? (It was a few inches long at the top of his leg.) Noah: I got into fight and the guy stabbed me. Me: holy shit Noah what happened? Noah: I was in this bar and a fight broke out. They were drunk and I was in the middle of them trying to get away. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time for sure. I got seven stitches. At least it left a gnarly scar. What about the scar over you left eye? Me: I was about four or five. I was sitting on a pickup with my brother watching my dad and his friend work on it. My mom came home for her lunch break. I got excited and tried to get down and when I did I tripped over a piece of wood and hit my head on the truck. I'll never forget that day. My mom always tells me ''Yeah I had to spend the rest of my lunch break in the E.R.'' I know I blacked out. All I remember was getting excited, falling and then being in the E.R. Noah: that's crazy. Maybe you have my story beat. Me: oh trust me I have more scar stories to tell. (We finished taking a shower, got ready and left for the mall.) Me: do you have any other scar stories or your brothers and sister? Noah: I have a great one. (I love a good scar story.) So my brother and me were playing some basketball one day. This was eight years ago. Well Vic was on the side line playing with her dolls. My parents were inside doing whatever they were doing anyways. We were playing and Blake went after the ball and all I seen was him fall. Vic screamed. He said um guys? He didn't cry, scream nothing. We ran over to him and there was Blake on the ground with a part of the fence in his leg. Me: no fucking way? Noah: It's true. The odd thing was there was no blood. Me: so how'd the fence get into his leg? Noah: The bottom of the fence was up and never got fixed so he fell on it. When Vic started to scream my parents ran outside and called 911. My mom tried to stay calm as she put a towel on his leg. The EMTs came and got the fence out of his leg and rushed him to the E.R.He got more then twenty stitches. His scar is wicked. Me: damn that's crazy. I want to see it now. I have a great scar story. (We arrived at the mall and we still talked about scars.) Me: So I was about nine and my dad took my brother and me sledding. Well what we didn't know was the night before it had ice rained. My dad had this crazy idea of going down the hill head first. When he did he got half way down and stopped. We ran to him. I seen the blood on the snow. I looked at my dad and he was holding his face. then all the kids came running around us. My dad's face looked like the Joker's face. My mom had to pick us up. When we got to the E.R. the doctor said if he didn't have the sky mask on the ice rain would of cut from his lips to his ears. He had a lot of stitches. I can't remember how many. I remember my mom saying ''Yet another time in a E.R. waiting on getting stitches.'' Noah: yeah your story wins. (We shopped for a few hours. I got each of my family members a gift, my friends and something for Noah's family and yes I got Robert something too. We got something to eat and talked. When went back to the house. I took all of the gifts to my room. Noah helped me wrap them all. For the rest of the day we just hung around the house. There wasn't really anything to do.
