A Secret Revealed

It was now Sunday evening. Dwight and Donnie had left and gone God knows where. But Tommy and Deb didn't care where they were. They were just happy that they were gone. Earlier in the day, Deb had gone and collected the necessary papers to serve to Dwight for a divorce.

Meanwhile, Tommy, who was in his room on his bed, was expecting Robotboy to be back very soon. He had ultimately decided that he was going to tell Robotboy what happened, in a way that he'd understand. Honestly, Tommy didn't quite understand it himself. Why two people would get married only to separate. He figured it had something to do with people changing. But he still didn't understand how you could love and marry someone, then decide you didn't love them anymore. But there was something that Tommy knew for sure. He would always love Robotboy. That would NEVER change.

Robotboy then flew into Tommy's window.

"Hello Tommy!" said Robotboy

"Hey Ro!" said Tommy "How was the visit?"

"It good. New program extend battery life and let Robotboy charge with sun. It also let Moshimo track Robotboy in emergencies."

"Wow. That's pretty cool. That could definitely help us out in the future." said Tommy

"Robotboy color with Robotgirl. "Made this for Tommy." said Robotboy, holding up a picture of him and Tommy holding hands

"Aw, thanks Ro! You did a good job!" said Tommy, who then rubbed his head, which made Robotboy close his eyes and smile

Tommy smiled at Robotboy. Robotboy then noticed Tommy's bruises.

"Tommy injured. What happen?"

"Oh. Right. Well, um, something happened yesterday." said Tommy, looking sad

"Huh?" asked Robotboy, tilting his head "What happen Tommy?"

Tommy sat on his bed, then patted at his side. Robotboy walked over, and sat next to him. Tommy sighed.

"So, yesterday, after you left, Donnie got home. He came into my room, and beat be up. Then...he dropped me down the stairs."

Robotboy's eyes turned red.

"Donnie hurt Robotboy! Robotboy hurt Donnie!"

"No Robotboy, it's ok! Calm down! I'm ok! Donnie's not even here!"

Robotboy's eyes turned back to normal.

"Donnie not here? Where is?" asked Robotboy

"Well, after Donnie beat me up, mom got home. She came and checked on me, and I told her what happened." said Tommy. "Actually, I told her a lot of things. I told her about Kurt, and about how dad and Donnie treat me, and about the mancation. Then, she left, and her and dad had an argument. She decided to break up with him, and him and Donnie left. And now, mom and dad are getting something called a divorce."

"Di-vorce?" said Robotboy "What is?"

"Well Ro, a divorce is when two married people separate." said Tommy

"Why Tommy mom dad separate? They no love each other?" asked Robotboy

"Well, it's...complicated. I don't really know exactly why people divorce. But I think it's because sometimes, people just change. And I think I heard dad say something about how he only loved mom because of her...behind." said Tommy

"Tommy sad?" asked Robotboy

"Well, yeah, a little bit. I mean, I know dad and Donnie were mean to me, but they were still family, and it kinda sucks that they left. And I kinda feel like it was my fault..."
