Travis POV
9:17 pm

I finally get the courage to peel myself off of the floor, my tears now dried in streaks down my face. I move myself and Taylor's backpack to a chair near by. I place myself in the chair and let my thoughts roam on the news I could possibly receive.

I'm not scared that Taylor will die, sure she definitely needs a blood transfusion, but the fear of it is still there.

What I am scared of is this highly possible pregnancy. I've known Taylor long enough to know that she loves kids and babies. Taylor is extremely maternal, which scares me. If this possible baby doesn't make it, I don't think Taylor will take the news well.

I just hope that if this baby somehow makes it, it would be a miracle, that it's mine. Even if it wouldn't be I'd still stay, because nothing could change the way I feel about her.

An hour and a half later

I finally see a nurse start to make her way to me, her scrubs stained with what I can only imagine to be Taylor's blood.

"Travis right?" She asks nervously playing with her hands.

"Yes," I say back with the same nervous tone in my voice.

"Okay, we've managed to stabilize her again, no she didn't go into cardiac arrest but she did get close. She needs a blood transfusion, would you like to see if yours is compatible with hers?" She questions me.

"Yes, I'd really like to see if I am. Did you by any chance check on the baby?" I ask, dread filling my heart.

"Alrighty then, we'll get your blood taken to be tested. And we didn't get a chance to check for the baby, but I felt around her stomach, and she feels like she is still possibly pregnant which is a good sign but I can't confirm or deny anything about it until we get an ultrasound tech in to see," she states back motioning me to follow her.

I just nod my head yes and continue following her until we get to the room used for drawing blood. I sit in the chair as she starts prepping my arm. She quickly draws a sample and let's me wait in this room as she goes to the lab to get it tested.

She comes back pretty quickly. Telling me that our blood types are in fact compatible. She preps my arm again and starts to take my blood, filling an IV bag with it. She's done after a few minutes, bandaging my arm and handing me a juice box and a bag of chips so that I don't pass out from the blood loss.

She tells me I'm good to go whenever I finish eating and she will get me as soon as the transfusion is over so I can finally see Taylor.

Two hours later
1:34 am

I've been sitting in Taylor's room for over an hour holding her hand, rubbing circles and placing light kisses on the front of her hand and also her palm.

She's been making very small movements a quiet noises. Her color is finally coming back since the transfusion, she no longer looks like the ghost I carried out of my apartment.

I place a few kisses on her palm again, and that's when I start to see her slowly open her eyes. She quickly shuts them closed again, blinking rapidly from the harsh lighting in the hospital room.

When she finally adjusts to the lights, lightly squeezing my hand back, she looks around the room. When her eyes finally settle on my own I give her a soft smile, one of those smiles you show only to the ones you love, placing a kiss on the back of her hand. I see her cheeks start to tent pink by my actions.
