Author's pov:

Abhimaan picked some sindoor and applied it in Ruhanika's hair partition. Ruhanika closed her eyes feeling content. Abhimaan also felt strangely happy, he felt marking her his completely. Ruhanika opened her eyes and smiled looking at him.

"You are looking gorgeous" said abhimaan exhaling a deep breath. Ruhanika looked down while blushing and muttered a small thank you. She started looking here and there avoiding his face. Abhimaan understood her situation and cleared his throat moving back.

"Ahh ..I am going down. Aap bhi fresh ho kr aa jaiye" said Ruhanika. "Hnn Mai aata hun" saying this abhimaan moved to the washroom to take a bath.

Abhimaan's pov:

I don't know mujhe kya ho gya h...but I feel a strange connection with Ruhanika. I feel like she is the one...she is pure...and innocent...not like me...tainted and cruel. I cannot ruin her life. I wanted to tell her everything before our marriage, but didn't got the chance. Mai ab use aur andhere me nai rakh skta. I have to tell her everything. But it's not possible for me to say it to her. I am a coward, who doesn't wants to come in front of everyone, who likes a lonely life.  But I cannot keep her in dark.

Author's pov:

Ruhanika moved downstairs to the kitchen. She was confused about what  to make. Two maids were present in the kitchen, they wished her as she entered. Ruhanika wished them too. She asked them "wo Mujhe nai pta h kya bnau sbke liye...aap meri madad krengi?"... The maids smiled and said "ji choti Bahu". Ruhanika felt weird the way they addressed her. So she said "aaplog mujhe Ruhanika hi boliye please. Choti Bahu nai". Everyone smiled and said "ok Ruhanika bhabhi".

Ruhanika got to know that everyone comes from jogging and gym at around 7 and joins for breakfast at 8. But today no one was awake as everyone slept late and were tired due to the wedding. She saw it was 6:53, so she started preparing breakfast with the help of maids.

She prepared tea for her great in-laws, coffee for youngsters, juice for vanshika and herself. She made sandwiches, poha and aalu paratha for breakfast. And finally sheera for dessert. It was about 8 when she started setting the table. After doing everything, she moved to the hall and found elders sitting there.

She came and touched naresh and shanti's feet. They blessed her. "Ruhanika today is your first day so it's fine. But now no need to touch our feet. You are more like our daughter than daughter in law. Okay?" Said Naresh. Ruhanika felt happy as they considered her as their daughter. She nodded and said "chaliye sb breakfast kr lijiye".

"Aree hn Ruhanika beta Aaj tumhari pehli rasoi thi mai btana bhul gyi" shanti said getting tensed. Ruhanika smiled and said "no problem dadi...I have already prepared everything. Chaliye kha lete h".

"Beta abhi utha nai?" Asked dadu. "Ji dadu wo uth gye h...aa hi rhe honge" replied Ruhanika. Naresh nodded. Dadi added "hnn vanshika aur atharv bhi aa rhe honge. Chaliye hm shuru krte h tb tk."

"Whattt?? Bhabhi ne breakfast banaya... Aap log ka pta nai Mai to abhi se bol rha hu khana 10 on 10 hoga" said atharv excitedly. Everyone laughed and moved to the breakfast table. Ruhanika was serving everyone till the time abhimaan came and sat. He was ready for his office.

"Abhi tum office ja rhe ho?" Enquired Nareshm Everyone looked at him questioning. Abhimaan looked at him then at his dadu and said "ahh yes actually I have taken a lot of leave and there was an important meeting...so yes..I have to go".

"Kya bhai aap CEO ho phir bhi chutti nai lete ho...Mai rehti to kbhi jati hi nai" said vanshika coming in the hall. She walked to her chair and sat. Atharv looked at her and said " hnn sb tere trh aalsi nai ho skte na". Everyone laughed while vanshika punched his arm.

"Ohho phir shuru ho gye dono...chup chap khanaa start kro" said shanti. "Ruhanika beta tum bhi baitho hmare saath. Everyone will serve themselves." Said Naresh. Ruhanika nodded and went beside Abhimaan as the only chair left was beside him. She sat there feeling nervous as everyone took the first bite.

"Wow bhabhi...see I told everyone..khana best hoga" exclaimed atharv. "Ummhh bhabhiii...I love pohaa thank you it's so good." Vanshika said filling another spoon of poha into her mouth.

"Ruhanika khana sach me bahut acha bna h" said dadi. "Beta khana bahut swadisht h...ye lo tumhara nek" said Naresh pulling out a bundle of notes passing to her. She was about to refuse when dadi said "Ruhanika bete khana sach me bahut acha bna h..filhal tum ye rakh lo naresh ki taraf se...khane ke baad aana hme tumhe kuch Dena h".

"Dadi, dadu inn sb ki koi zarurat nai h" Ruhanika said denying them. "Rakh lo beta nek mana nai krte" said dadi. "Thik h" saying this she took the money. She was happy everyone liked the food. But she expected abhimaan to say something. Abhimaan just concentrated on eating as he wasn't sure what he should say. He loved the food but felt shy saying in front of everyone.

After breakfast, everyone got up and went to their rooms to rest. Abhimaan was about to leave for the office when he turned and noticed Ruhanika standing there. He said "Ruhanika!". She looked at him and said "ji". "Khana bahut acha bna tha.. and sheera was the best". Ruhanika was happy listening to his comment and said thank you. Abhimaan said "I will probably be late. Byee". Ruhanika nodded and bid him bye.

Later, Ruhanika was in her room, scrolling through her phone as her grandmother-in-law said the maids will handle the lunch. She should rest. Then she remembered dadu called her to his room. So she got up and left towards his room.
