Author's pov:
The door was open but dadu and dadi were discussing something. So Ruhanika knocked them off.
"Aree Ruhanika beta...andar aao" welcomed dadi. Ruhanika entered with small steps and enquired "aapne bulaya tha dadu?".
Naresh looked and shanti and gestured her to bring something from the cupboard. Shanti smiled and nodded she took out a heavy, designer box from the cupboard and handed it to Ruhanika.
Ruhanika was confused. Naresh asked her to open it. As she opened the box. A beautiful and heavy set of bangles along with some hair accessories and jwellery were present in it. It looked antique. But beautiful.

She looked at dadu dadi confused.
"It's for you ruhaika beta." Said Naresh. "As your first rasoi gift" added dadi. "But this is too much...how can I??" Ruhanika tried to oppose them.
"Bete...this belongs to my mother. It was given to shanti. Then to radhika. Now it has come to you. Ghar ki badi Bahu ka haq h ispr... Isme 3 pidhiyon ka pyar aur aashirwad h...mana mat kro" said Naresh.
Ruhanika felt happy not becoz of the gift but for the love she got. She slowly nodded and smiled. Naresh and shanti too smiled at her.
"Ruhanika hme tumse kuch baat bhi karni thi" said dadu.
"Ji kahiye na...kya baat h" Ruhanika asked looking at him.
"Beta dekho...abhimaan bahut alag ldka h...wo hm logon se bahut pyar krta h...wo dil ka bura nai h...magar uske saath jo hua h bachpan me...wo use abhi tk bhul nahi paya h...hme tumse behtar ldki nai mil skti thi uske liye...isiliye humne tumhe chuna...tum use thoda waqt dena...wo khud smjh jayega....aur ho ske to uski nadaniyon ko maaf krna" naresh finished.
"Dadu...mujhe nai pta kya hua h unke saath...na Mai unhe pehli ke kisi baat ke liye judge krungi...mai tayyar hu unhe waqt Dene ke liye...mai apni puri koshish krungi unhe samjhne ki" saying this Ruhanika gave a ray of hope in naresh's and shanti's heart.
Then she left their room as they also needed to rest. She kept the box carefully in her cupboard. She read some books and the scrolled through her phone whole day as no one was there. In evening she got busy in preparation of dinner.
At night,
It was 10 and still abhimaan hadn't returned. Everyone has their dinner as it was normal for them. But Ruhanika wanted to enjoy her dinner with 'him' so she waited for his return.
Abhimaan's pov:
It's 11:30.. I got stuck in work. As I had taken leave for many days. I needed to complete the work and I forgot the track of time. As soon as I entered, the lights were off. I guess everyone had their dinner, she too must have eaten. I sighed and moved to my room. No one was there. I went to check the balcony, there she was. Staring the sky. After looking at her glowing face it seems all my tiredness ran away. I stood beside her. She turned to me and smiled.
