Angela's POV
I'm 17 and summer is finally starting. I'm out the door to go to Isabella's place for a ride to go eat breakfast from her older brother Jack, and yes the most annoying famous Jack Gilinsky. I've known Isabella for quiet a long time now, we met in grade 5 and stayed together for the 7 years after.
*Knocks on the door*
"Hey Izzy"
"Hey Angela" she replies.
In the background I hear 3 car honks. What does this boy want? "What do you want Jack?"
"Let's go catch some breakfast to eat, I'm not starving myself to death" he says.
On the way to McDonalds, we jammed out to Ride With Me by Skate another one of our friends, born and raised in Omaha.
At McDonalds
We take our seats as Jack orders for us.
Isabella: "We have to look for some cute boys this summer"
"Hmm I don't know, I'm just looking forward to spending time with you, just some girl time"
Isabella: "We should go to the movies today"
"Fine but does your brother have to go?"
Isabella: "Well he's kinda our ride"
Jack comes back with the food.
Isabella: "Jack can we go to the theatres? Let's watch The Gallows."
Jack: "Yeah whatever let me eat"
Sometimes Jack is so rude but I don't know maybe this summer I'll get to know him more.
At the theatres
Since I want to be hanging out with Isabella quite a lot this summer, I'm gonna have to make friends with Jack, I hope it won't be so bad.
"Hey Jack"
Jack: "Yeah Angela?"
"Sit beside me during the movie, I don't get scared at all and I need to get to know you more, maybe under that tough guy there's a scared little girl."
Jack: "That's a challenge Foxx" (Angela's last name)
"Okay Gilinsky"
Movie starts
Isabella's POV
I don't really know what to think? Why is Angela sitting beside Jack? I thought she was supposed to spend time with me...this shouldn't be such a bad thing right?
