The tugging led him. He could feel the fear from his mates. His.

Mine.

A fury was building as Godrick flew rapidly through the sky, knowing without knowing how, where they were. The forest made way to homes, a small town where the occupants looked up in the sky in shock as his massive form jetted passed overhead. He could see amazingly well, quickly eyeing his beautiful she-wolf mate as she crashed into a larger wolf with the same colouring, while he was still miles away up in the sky.

His unbridled rage coursed through him as he saw the hit she took. He could see his other mate bent by the Alpha will–not consciously understanding why the wolf was fixed to the spot as he was.

He felt her eyes land on him. A roar ripped out of him, a warning to all.

Those on the ground froze in fear as he circled quickly once around them then nose-diving down. His swift approach shocked some to break for cover, running as fast as their legs could take them–a few shifting hastily and running away with their literal tail between their legs. Alpha Andrew and Luna Rachel stood in place.

He shifted to his half form as he landed on his feet. His clothes were intact, his damaged and ripped shirt and jacket, exposing his chest and collarbone still. He stalked towards the thing that seemed to be a threat–the Alpha wolf.

"Godrick!" Derek yelled. "Don't!"

Godrick paused. He looked over to his mates. Samantha's wolf body was shaking with effort. He changed his direction, angling towards them instead. He kept a peripheral eye on the other wolf, the older female seeming to be frozen in place, her eyes wide.

"Samantha," he called as he approached.

She shifted back to human form painfully. Her shoulder had four large slashes across it and she struggled to stand due to the injury to her right hip.

He scooped her into his arms and turned to Derek. "What's going on here?" His human side came forward.

"They're trying to remove our marks. They're giving her away to another pack."

He looked down at her face. She had a sheen of sweat across her forehead, her hair wild. She trembled with the aftereffects of her fear and fight.

"We just have to run." Her wolf was still punching through. He kissed her forehead, tasting her sweat.

He placed her in their mate's arms. "Keep her safe," his voice rumbled as his dragon came forward again.

He turned towards Samantha's parents.

"She is mine." He pushed his intention at them. They swayed under his decree. He swung back towards his mates. "Let's go."

Alpha Andrew shifted back, holding his broken arm, his body riddled with bite marks. Luna Rachel ran to her mate's side.

"You can't!" He yelled.

"Sammy," Rachel snapped. "If you leave you'll be cast out. You can't ever come back."

Samantha snuggled into Derek's big arms. "Okay."

Godricks dragon chuckled as he coaxed Derek to start walking. It was like a parting sea, no wolf moved to stop them, Godricks dragon at the surface.

They took the first car they came across. Theft wasn't really a thing in the pack so the keys were in the car.

Derek sat in the backseat with Samantha. "Do you need to go to the hospital?"

She shook her head, "I just want to leave," she froze and looked up at Derek. She was completely back now, her wolf retreating now that they seemed to be safe. Her reasoning came back. What if Derek didn't want this?
