5. Everything and Nothing

Gemini was excited—how could he not be? He finally has a girlfriend, and she's beautiful. She's one of the most beautiful people ever.

True, he wasn't the first person to approach her, and she was acting really coy when asking him out. And Gemini honestly thought that there was nothing he was losing if he gave this relationship a chance. And now, he was on cloud nine. He was as happy as he could ever be and he couldn't wait to finally go into the GMMTV building as a taken man.

He was a bit late to make-up; precisely half an hour, according to P'Earn who was pacing to and fro around the dressing room when he rushed in. P'Earn lifted her head to glare at him as he sheepishly raised an arm in greeting.

"Half an hour?!" she screeched and Gemini saw from the corner of his eyes how Fourth, who was getting help with his outfit, looked up at him and grinned.

"I'm sorr—" Gemini started, but P'Tong grabbed his arm and started to drag him towards the make-up room.

As he felt Fourth's gaze following him, he quickly looked at his tiny, cute partner and raised his fingers in a peace sign before yelling, "Hey, I have something to tell you. Let's talk later, okay?"

Fourth nodded and Gemini let himself get dragged away.

As P'Tong continued working on him, Gemini realized that the first person he was informing about his relationship with Perth was Fourth, and for some reason, it made him uneasy. They were informed to let the company know if they were getting into relationships with each other (Gemini had scoffed at that statement back then) or with anyone, and he remembered how Fourth told him about his relationship back then.

They had grown unexpectedly a bit apart back then. Fourth was Gemini's first ever kiss and Gemini considered it normal for him to feel something more than friendship towards the person who he shared his first kiss with, but Fourth was already in a relationship. Gemini worried about the boundaries he had to keep with Fourth; about what he should do in the name of their official ship and what he shouldn't do.

He had to admit, back then his feelings were confusing. At one time it looked like Fourth was deeply in love with him, and the next moment Gemini watched how Fourth kept texting his girlfriend or calling her and giggling with her. It made Gemini doubt their partnership. He didn't want complete commitment—they weren't in an actual romantic relationship after all, but Fourth's affections towards him were swinging like a pendulum and at one moment, Gemini just wanted to confront him and ask him what he actually thought about him.

But that never happened and they started filming for their next series.

Fourth broke up with his girlfriend two years ago, but till date, he didn't know why. His eyebrows could crease up and he would pout whenever someone approached the ex-girlfriend topic, and so Gemini decided to stay away from it. Fourth's affections towards him grew overtime, so much that Gemini wondered if Fourth broke up with her because of him.

Of course, he didn't. It was absurd, to break up with his girlfriend because of Gemini. But that little thought grew into hope in Gemini's poor heart.

Fourth started to grow increasingly clingy to him, that Gemini couldn't even spare a minute without him. Gemini was worried that they might get to a point where they were dependent on each other and it scared him. Fourth often showed him pictures of girls and asked his type, and Gemini would randomly point out someone or kick him away and Fourth would start to pout. Gemini didn't understand his deal these days. Fourth was getting tongue-tied whenever people spoke about their partnership, or whenever the staff would tease them about social media posts by fans.
