"Have you ever thought of cutting your hair?" Gemini asked, as he stared at Perth's bedroom ceiling.

Perth lifted her head from Gemini's neck to look down at him as he hesitantly met her gaze. She looked pissed—absolutely dangerous, and on the brink of insanity. Gemini gulped, but his eyes never left hers as she sighed and fell down beside him with a sigh. They were thankfully still clothed; Gemini wasn't still ready to take the next step in their relationship and it looked like Perth understood. He also knew that Perth had experience, whereas he was new to everything. He has kissed only two people in his life after all.

"I'm trying to..." Perth started, as she pulled her hand away from Gemini's, "I'm trying to make you feel good and you're asking about haircuts?"

"No, I mean, I do feel good" Gemini tried to compensate with flattery, but it was apparently falling on deaf ears, "I do, trust me. But like, don't be offended but your hair... it gets in the way, whenever we kiss"

Perth stared at him before rolling off the bed and stood up. Gemini groaned before sitting up on the bed as well. He watched her walk towards the window and stare outside, arms wrapping around her torso. Gemini felt bad. They were being intimate before he started to blabber absolute nonsense. Why the fuck was he thinking about her hair in the first place?

"It's not my hair that gets in the way, Gem" Perth started, as she turned around to face him.

Gemini swallowed harshly before standing up and taking a few steps closer to her. She took an immediate step back and he stopped advancing. It was a universally known action—and Gemini wasn't stupid. He sighed before nodding.

"It is your hair" Gemini replied, even though he wasn't sure about what he was saying anymore, "It keeps tickling my chest or gets into my mouth and then I can't kiss you right—"

Perth interrupted him before he could continue, "It's not the hair"

"Then it's your mom" he snapped.

He knew right away that he overstepped her comfort zone by mentioning her mom, but he couldn't help it. When he raised his gaze to look at her, he noticed the tears that were edging her eyes. Awesome, now he was making girls cry. He hated this person he has become, this selfish bastard who wasn't fully committed to this relationship he was in. He hated the fact that he was finding excuses to not be with her. He was finding excuses to avoid relationships in general.

Even with Fourth.

When he first discovered his love for acting and singing, he was scared. People were new and the entire industry was shown like a fairytale for the fans but it reeked of nothing but ugliness. Fourth was with him in every step of the way, and that was probably the only reason why he had started to depend on him. Both of them depended on each other. When they first started filming "Safe House", Gemini and Fourth were practically attached at the hip. They simultaneously filmed "Moonlight Chicken" and "My school president" during that time, and their bond had grown ever since. Gemini needed Fourth constantly in his life. He couldn't stay away from him. Fourth would unconsciously snuggle closer to him during sleep. They would hug each other in the cold, under the blankets and even their Phis understood that they needed each other more than anyone did.

And then they kissed for the first time and Gemini felt like he was drowning. Fourth had experience, but he didn't. Every feeling that he got thereafter came crashing to him like waves, over and over. The anxiety, the rosy hearts floating around Fourth, the way he felt every breath Fourth took next to him, the way he felt Fourth's heartbeat screaming whenever they touched. It was all insane and it drove him to the edge.
