Mikha's POV

"Another 30 minutes jog!" I shouted and immediately ran, leaving my teammates in total shock. Of course, sinong hindi magugulat? we just finished one hour and thirty minutes jog tapos ngayon aayain ko ulit silang magjogging. 

"Captain! Water break muna, please." one of the freshmen said while catching her breath. I looked at the others at para silang mukhang kawawa kaya naman tumango ako at lumapit sa kanila. 

"What's wrong with you? Tangina naman, may date pa ako!" Gwen protested and pointed at Sheena who's beside Jhoanna and Stacey. 

"Nothing's wrong. I just want us to prepare for our upcoming meet. We are the defending champion, hindi natin pwedeng basta nalang ibigay ang spot natin. We need to prove the other team that we can still win even without the seniors." I told them as I get my tumbler. 

No, it was a lie. I hate that I need to do this. I hate that I need to tire myself para makatulog agad at hindi siya maisip sa tuwing uuwi ako. I've been doing this for a week na, and so far, effective naman. 

I miss her. I miss Aiah. 

"Ulol! Damay mo pa kami sa kabobohan mo." Colet said.

I looked at her sharply but she just smiled sweetly at me. "Joke lang boss, hindi ka naman mabiro. Ito na nga, tatakbo na. Piskit talaga!" she added and began running again. 

After that night of their pageant, when Stacey and I became official, hindi na rin ako kinausap ni Aiah. I heard she's having her OJT na as a medical technologist student. I remembered her telling me her worries na baka hindi siya magaling, na baka late na kapag narealize niya na paano kung hindi naman pala para sa kanya 'yong pinili niyang pre-med. And yet, the girl disregarded those negativities and continued pursuing it. 

I smiled, thinking of how brave she is. I'm so proud of her. 

"Go baby!" I went back to reality when I heard Stacey shouted. Nakita ko pang inasar siya nila Jhoanna at Sheena sa ginawa niya. Siguro kung dati pa kami ganito, baka naglupasay na ako sa kilig. 

"Baby raw! Halika baby, takbo na ulit tayo!" Gwen teased and slightly pushed me, dahilan para mapatakbo na rin ako.
