“Hindi ka na sasama kumain sa mall, Antonia?” I glared to Harper when she uttered my first name.

“Joke lang baks, parang hindi ka naman mabiro eh. Sige uwi ka na bye, mwah!” It didn't take time when Harper run away from me.

Jade's not here dahil may pupuntahan daw siya. She didn't even change her pe shirt and just run off from the oval when professor Villamor dismissed us.

I was planning to have shower first but then changed my mind when I saw a line queue of my classmates while heading to the bathroom. I think I don't have a choice but to shower at home.

I took a different way and get all my things when I decided to go home to shower since this is the last subject we have. I was interrupted when Ivan, the class Vice President, make his way to me.

“Lau, are you planning to go home now?” I stopped myself from rolling my eyes when he really asked me that. Isn't it obvious?

“Yes... why?” My brows furrowed when I saw him scratched his nape as if he's ashame to something.

He was about to say something when my phone rung loudly, he gestured his hand that I should answer it while he whispered words I didn't hear. I immediately answer it when I saw Dad's name flashed on the screen.

“The maid said that you left the house messy. If I didn't let her go there to clean the house, their would be a bunch of insects and flies going around the house.” I mentally rolled my eyes when Dad said that.

“I was supposed to clean that now that I am going home, Dad.” I waved off my hand to Ivan and didn't bother to wait for him to respond when he was about to follow me as I walked away.

“And besides, it's just a couple of bowls and ladles I used when I cooked for my breakfast before going here. Don't overreact, po.” I pursed my lips when I didn't stopped myself from saying my intrusive thoughts.

I thought Dad would make it a big deal but I just heard him sighed, maybe trying to calm himself down. I didn't heard anything from him when I get myself in my car and drove away from the university.

“You're still there po?” I asked wondering why he's not talking on the other line.

After a few second he coughed before speaking, “Well, it's for your own health that's why you should let the house clean. Ano na lang sasabihin ng asawa mo kapag nadatnan niyang makalat ang bahay niyo?” I stepped on the break when he mentioned my husband.

What in the world Dad will mention him?

“He's not here, Dad. And please, why should we live in the same house? Their family is well off and I think my husband owns a lot of house or even more a penthouse, so he don't need to stay here with me.”
