Saeko walked with both hands tucked into her pockets, her steps echoing softly through the quiet halls. She stopped in front of her door, staring at it for a moment before pushing it open. Suddenly, the girl was immediately filled with an odd feeling.

Her eyes carefully observed the room. Nothing odd so far; table, sofa, a couple of chairs, flower pots, her umbrella, a pair of guns, an open pizza box and her backpack. She made a mental note to toss her backpack onto the bed later.

The foxian sighed and entered the room. Maybe she was just being paranoid. There were many things that had been a weight on her shoulders. Like Jing Yuan's requests, the borisins, and Wardance.

Ensuring the safety of Xianzhou Luofu wasn’t going to be easy, but minimizing the casualties would be her top priority. Saeko must be ready to plan everything to make sure no new complications would arise.

But then, she froze mid-step, her eyes widening as a realization struck her.

A pair of guns and an open pizza box?

Saeko's head snapped back toward the table. Those were not hers!

"Heh, took you long enough."

The foxian jumped at the voice and twisted her body to the direction where it came from. On her sofa, a man with silverish white hair wearing red jacket. Looking far too comfortable for someone who didn't belong here.

"E- eh..?"

"Oh right, this is your room." He pushed his body up and placed a foot over the table. "Why are you looking at me like that? Have you seen a ghost?" The man chuckled.

Flashing her a smirk, he spoke. "So you're the one holding Yamato huh?" His eyes darted up and down over her body. "I wonder what Vergil would thought about when he find out that his precious weapon was being held by someone else?"

Saeko was at a loss for words. She didn't expect Dante to be here! Griffon being here might be alright, but him? No, it does not!

"Eh-nah-neh..?"

The man stood up and walked towards her. "As you may already know, I'm Dante. Why am I here? Well, I'm here only to assist in dealing against certain... Monsters."

"Looking forward to seeing how you fight. Adios!"

With that, he turned, casually leaping out of the open window. Saeko rushed over to look outside, but Dante was already gone.

Confused and slightly flustered, she turned back to the room and noticed something on the sofa, a note. As she got closer and picked it up to inspect the item, turns out it was an envelope.

Saeko opened it, and inside there was a paper and a... Car key?

Pulling those out, her eyes shifted to the paper.

"I would love to chat a little more. But, business calls! Here is a little present for you. I'm sure you could drive a car. Though, what car is it— you have to find out yourself. It will be shipped to Stargazer Navalia within a few days, you still have to look for it. I'm afraid. Happy hunting!

Oh, here's a hint. It's in a large silver container."

Saeko scratched her head, tossing the note onto the table. The car key looked normal, but she wasn’t sure how a car was supposed to help her here. Maybe it had some special equipment?

She'd figure that out later. For now, she needed to prepare to meet up with Sushang and Griffon. The foxian looked at the empty pizza box on the table and shook her head, at least it was empty, she had no qualms to throw the box in the trash at least.

"Ready?" Sushang stretched her arms above her head.

Saeko nodded. "Can't wait to meet Huohuo for the first time, I sure hope I can give a good impression."

"Relax, I'm sure she will like you guys." Sushang said with a smile as she walked ahead of the group, with Saeko and Griffon following behind.

As they walked, Saeko felt a soft nudge. Turning her head, she found Griffon flying close by, his eyes locked on hers. She raised an eyebrow and leaned closer.

"What's up?" She whispered.

"This Huohuo girl, can we trust her?" The bird kept his voice low.

"Yeah, don't worry, she also have a heliobus called Tail. He's fierce and funny. In fact, I think you and Tail will be best friends."

Griffon let out a hum and then nodding. "Alrighty. But I have a funny feeling about that."

Realizing they had fallen behind, they quickened their pace to catch up with Sushang, who was already several steps ahead. Slowing down when they were right behind the Cloud Knight.

They might also have a chance to meet Hanya and Xueyi. Huohuo was likely at Fyxestroll Garden, a place brimming with heliobus activity. Is her mental state strong enough to resist heliobus attacks? Nah, she didn't need to worry, she's got Yamato at her disposal.

Right now, though, it was best to focus on building alliances. The more allies they had, the fewer problems they’d face down the line.
