A gentle nudge shook me out of this daze. I looked up and discovered that I had landed in the floor of a amazingly soft floor of a forest. I have landed next to a tree that apparently has been blocking the winds and rain over night and when a powerful wind came by, one of the branches blended over me and nodded me awake. Ooh how intelligent I must be! I must be smarter than Einstein!
I stood up and looked about the environment I have landed in. The welcoming trees and the soft tweet of the song birds made me feel like this is my true home. I explored the forest and noticed that the trees almost look like fairy dust has been sprinkled atop of their thin, fan like leaves. My eyes darted around and landed on the song birds. Their smooth looking feathers gave off a shine that reflected the sun. Their sharp eyes came in different colors such like, brunette, hazel, baby blue, and many other colors that you would've fell in love at the second you saw it. As I looked closer into the surroundings, I noticed tiny little fluttery things that at the first glance or skim, you would think where butterflies. And that is what I thought. They were so tiny and miniature that all you could see where their clear, oval wings that gave off blinding, white light that seem to make them appear more magical. They were too small to even see their brilliant colors. I explored this forest until there were nothing left to explore.
I sat down, worn out from all the exploring and decided to do something I loved dearly: crafts! I took out a piece of square, origami paper and thought back to the the video I saw about how to fold and origami burger. As I thought about it, my hand slowly moved over the smooth piece of paper and started folding. Each fold I did was as straight as the trees in the forest which is probably straighter than the rulers I have at home. I did my folds strong and sure, never making a mistake. I thought of the perfect burger. Then, my stomach growled. Of coarse, I had not bean having a nip of any food at all! I continued making my burger when a sweet smelling scent wafted over and took over my nose. The smell increased as I finished up my real looking burger. A butterflies flew over and Lynn film of dust, or powder fell on my burger. Bewildered, my paper burger started expanding growing till it is the size of a store bought burger and before you could say jack rabbit, the burger sparkled to a point that I have to shield my eyes from the beautifully shining light. In a flash, the burger became real.
I scrambled near a tree and held onto it like how I would have clutched mom. The burger, looking very real and sitting their had once been an fragile, mini burger that was so colorless and now, resting on the ground, looked like a real burger. But is it edible? I crawled toward it and held it in my ghostly white, shaking hands and bit the burger with my chittering, weak teeth. In a second I found my self sinking my teeth into a completely edible burger that had been fake a minute before! The juiciness of the tomatoes in the burger immediately filled my body up with liquid and my lips that once has been dry got moistened right away. Before I could sink my teeth into the patty, I dropped the burger, suddenly realizing that this is NOT right. How can a fake burger turn into a real one? There is no logical answer to this. None. A paper burger to a real one is not possible unless. It is not logical. It can't be, magic, or can it?
I pondered, thinking of solutions, but none of them seemed right.
None of them would work. My eyes grew big. Grabbing my pack, I ran. I ran faster than a deer, my legs brought me to dead end, and another, and another. At the forth dead end, I stopped, out of breath. Breathing heavily, I heard a little voice that sounds like bells twinkle its little chimes. "Don't be discouraged or sad. You would soon learn how to love this enchanted forest and get used to its powers." The twinkle stopped. "Turn around," I did as I was told. I gasped. Behind me was a swarm of smiling, sparkling Butterbeings, at least that is whet they told me. "Ve are ze butterflies zat turned into fairies." A Butterbeings said with a thick, German accent. I stared in wonder, surely this couldn't be true. I pinched myself to a point that my skin turned purple and still isn't getting any response. I just stared at the caries in disbelief as they introduced themselves with voice that sound like tinkling bells. "I am Stella. I am have and extra power.I can make the trees seem as if they have a mind of themselves.Everybody else can turn things into live." The fairies all nodded in agreement. "She is Jasmine, the one with the green wings. The other fairy is Ella. She is still a child. Twenty more fairies are still resting in their little rock houses. We're do you live?" Everything happened so fast that I didn't even have time to contemplate this out of hand situation. I just stared, blinked and ran away, my a feet a blur, into the enchanted woods.
