I crept silently beside the bushes Victoria scurried by. I avoided all of the squishy mud piles. I stepped swiftly on the forest floor.

Hours went by, flying as fast as wind. The moon shone, shining down its magical rays of light that left me feeling odd. It felt like someone punching me in the stomach and on my legs. My body grew tired as each blow injured my strength. I fell down, in a clump and dozed off into a deep slumber. I woke up with the sun in my eyes. "She's awake!" Someone whispered-shouted. "Her eyes are brown, like Victoria's. They're not blue!"

"My eyes are honey colored, not the color of poo." I said.

They all hushed. For about thirty seconds, all was silent. Figuring out that I am harmless, they started gossiping until.......

"What are you folks talking about?" A familiar voice demanded.

"This outsider is invading our valley." A person lied,"is that convincing enough?"

       "Nope."

       "Thought so..."

A figure crouched down next to me. Adjusting my vision, I saw a figure tall and slim, black hair and....." Victoria!" I hopped onto my feet. I smiled big. But It turned it upside down when I saw the solemn faces the the people had on. Awkward silence forced me to look at the surroundings. Indeed it was a valley, but more like a volcanoes without lava. White pine stretched its branches on the mountains making the whole place look cold and winter-like. The huts that the people made were more like a mini version of the valley. There were ladders on the side so you can climb into the hole and pull the lid out for protection. The huts are made of a solid rock with a ditch dug in it. And with a pinch of magic, the hole appears with a sliding roof and amazingly strong walls. Hammers can't break it, lightning can't break it, nothing can. "How do you know Victoria?" A person asked. "Long story short, we met in the forest and talked." Victoria said as she pulled me into a hut and closed the sliding doors.

"Do you know what you're doing, this is very dangerous. We can all die!" Victoria exploded, adding lava to this volcano. "How?" I asked. Victoria sighed and blabbered on:

"This is the valley of the blooming buds. Here contains all the replicas of the children in the world not over 15 years of age. When one dies here, the children in the world must be and adult. But when someone dies, one must be born or else the world would be unbalanced. This is our job to make sure the world doesn't over populate with people or lack people. Everything works well exempt for one thing: if a worldly being enters our valley, the world would be unbalanced so another must be born. When the worldly being goes back, the world would be unbalanced again. So, when the world is unbalanced........" I stopped listening. I was bored. Waiting for Victoria to finish talking took an eternity but time seemed to slow down when Victoria said " wishing well might lose its magic."
