I ran, my feet feeling strong and confident of bringing me anywhere I wish, and anywhere I please.Right now, I want to go HOME!!!! Half expecting my feet to know way and just bring me home, I struggled to stay on track. I stared with curiosity as I passed a glistening deer, slowly munching away at the jet green grass. It looked so calm and peaceful. I slowed down my pace, and inched my way toward the deer, slowly running my fingers through its white polka dotted fuzz. I smiled. It was the first time in years that I have ever smiled at anything. The love that I had once felt hugged me again, filling me with its warmth. Focusing on the deer again, I realized that the deer had baby blue, crystal like eyes, not brunette. I stared in wonder as I observed these hypnotizing eyes with my mind drifting back to when I was at home, pouting about Wendy. Maybe she is not so bad after all, just like this deer.

Refocusing on my purpose, I turned back to the path that I ran on. Looking and the trail, I noticed that it was getting narrower and narrower by the second. I stared in disbelief until the trail shrunk to the size that only a ant fit its little feet on. My hopes fell. You can almost hear the great drop just by putting your ears next to mine. Yes, it was that loud. Maybe I wouldn't get out of this forest after all, I thought over and over 'till I got bored of that fact and sat down on the cool grass. Instead of complete softness, my legs hit something hard and cold. I winced in the pain that sent a chill up my spine and shook it off. Something is there, I thought a dumb thought. "Off coarse something is there!" Something, or should I say, someone said. It wasn't the voice of the tinkling fairies, it was too manly. It isn't the voice of some enchanted animal, it was too ruff and not magical. It sounded like, me.

Biting my nails, I mustered all my courage and strength. "Wh...who are you?" My voice croaked, barely a whisper. "I am Victoria and wha..." Her voice trailed of as she stepped out from behind the poplar tree( probably enchanted). I screamed a scream so loud that even dogs can't hear it(or more like I opened my mouth and can't scream). I closed my eyes and rubbed it and opened them again. Nothing, and I mean nothing changed. Victoria had the the same honey eyes that melts your heart, same black hair that always appeared to ride the wind, hands that always seem to be resting in a position a model would do, ragged jeans, and a shirt that said " I HATE HATERS🍄." Apart from her perfection and the ballet flats, she was an exact replica of me, Jasmine Staurt.

I backed up, so did she. I focused my eyes on hers, so did she. "Who," we said at the same time and covered our mouths in shock at the same second. I was shaking, knocking my knees together hard as if to knock on the door of Mr. Scare-dy-pants' house and ask him to live somewhere else.

Leaves rustles, songbirds tweets, and we stare. Somehow, I wasn't scared(sort of) or frightened anymore. Victoria is 'me' right! I mean, I should be able to predict what she is planning, right! I relaxed my shoulders and dropped them into a relaxed position. I wanted to look approachable. I gathered my strength and spoke.

"What are you and how did you read my mind?"

"You could read my mind if you tried too! Guess what I am thinking?"

         "You are weird?"

          "That's what I am thinking!"

          "But how?"

A wolf howled and the light dimmed.

"It's late, you better go, I better go. Do not tell anyone about me and I won't tell anyone about you. Just pretend this was a dream." Victoria said. She turned around, and without a good-bye, she leaped and entered the woods, with me trotting noiselessly behind, following her every step.
