Reiner and Bertholdt were nearby with several other rookies. Some of them were their friends, Jean and Marco from the Southern Cadet division.
It had been more than a week since both of them had joined the Military Police.
Bertholdt was lost in his thoughts about Annie, wondering if she reached the port near the sea safely, while Reiner was in his soldier mode, interacting with their MP squad.
Bertholdt was broken out of his thoughts when he collided with Reiner who stopped abruptly infront of him.
"R-Reiner, why did you stop so abruptly?" Bertholdt asked Reiner in confusion.
Reiner just pointed his finger towards two corrupted MPs standing next to a boat in the canal, talking to a merchant about selling emergency supplies.
After watching the exchange , Marlowe's face darkened , "Bastards! They are illegally selling our emergency supplies!"
Jean and Marco's face too displayed rage in their eyes after seeing the exchange.

Soon Jean, Marco and Marlowe began to walk forward.
Hitch's eyes widened, " Wow, these guys are the real deal."
Some of the other graduates just stood there folding their arms.
One of them said, "Are they serious!? They are our superiors, they will make their life hell "
Reiner and Bertholdt said nothing but observed, the former one cautious about the two MPs and ready if his friends needed any help while the latter was just keeping an eye on the former so nothing blows up in their face, ruining their mission.
The first officer let out a laugh. "I think we've earned ourselves a drink."
He paused as he noticed the three recruits step up in front of them.
The second officer looked at them dismissively. "What are you rookies looking at?"
