Dear Wings,

This story is based on a true story of a friend I recently met. At first, I was quick to judge—something I think many of us might do when faced with something we don't fully understand. But I kept my thoughts to myself and allowed myself time to listen. When I finally met his partners and saw how they were with each other, my heart filled with joy. Their love was so genuine, so full of understanding and care, that it completely changed how I viewed their relationship.

I spent time hearing their story, studying their lives together, and what I found was something beautiful. This story is inspired by them. While the characters in the book don't share their real names or identities, I wrote this with their blessing, and they've read and approved it before I decided to share it with you.

I know I mentioned I was on a break—and yes, I still am—but this story was too touching to let go without narrating it. It moved me in ways I didn't expect, and I felt compelled to share it with you.

I know this is different from the fanfiction I usually write, and it's about a form of love that might seem unconventional to many. Some of you may even feel hesitant to read it. But I urge you to give it a chance—it might just change your perspective the way it changed mine. There's nothing inappropriate or gross here, I promise. Instead, it's a celebration of the idea that love comes in many forms. As long as people are committed to one another and aren't hurting anyone, who are we to judge?

Thank you for reading, and I hope this story touches you as much as it did me.

With love,
Rittzi
