Later that night, After a brief nap, Dev woke up and lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling as his mind raced with thoughts. He had tried to push it aside, to focus on the time he had left with Karan and Arjun, but the reality of the separation was weighing heavily on him.
He didn't hear them enter the room until he felt the bed dip beside him. Karan slipped under the covers on one side, and Arjun on the other, both of them surrounding Dev with their warmth. Their presence immediately eased some of the tension in his chest, but he could still feel the anxiety gnawing at him.
Karan was the first to move, turning onto his side and pressing a soft kiss to Dev's shoulder. "You slept like you were dead. I almost had a heart attack." he whispered, his lips brushing against Dev's skin.
Dev let out a small sigh, closing his eyes at the sensation. "Can't help it," he admitted. "I was too tired. Or rather my mind was."
Arjun shifted closer on the other side, his hand sliding across Dev's chest in a slow, deliberate motion. "Stop overthinking for tonight," he said softly. "Let's just be us for now."
Karan's hand moved to Dev's chest, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on his skin as he spoke. "We love you, Dev. So much. And we're going to miss you like crazy. But we're not going to lose you. You'll always be part of us."
Dev's breath hitched slightly at their words, the emotion in his chest swelling. "I'm going to miss you both so much," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
Arjun's hand slid down Dev's torso, his touch warm and soothing as he leaned in to press a kiss to Dev's neck. "Let us show you how much you will be missed," he murmured against his skin. "How we will miss each part of you."
Karan's lips followed the path of his hand, trailing soft kisses along Dev's chest as he whispered, "Yeah, let our bodies do the talking and minds have some rest."
The tenderness of their touches, the warmth of their bodies pressed against his, made Dev's heart ache with love and longing. He turned his head, capturing Arjun's lips in a slow, deep kiss, pouring all of his unspoken fears and desires into that moment. Arjun responded with equal intensity, his hand sliding lower, reminding Dev of the connection they shared, the bond that wouldn't be broken by distance.
Karan's hand moved down to Dev's waist, his fingers teasing the waistband of his shorts as he pressed kisses along his ribs.
Dev let out a shaky breath, his body responding to their touch, his heart swelling with emotion. He turned his head toward Karan, pulling him into a kiss that was just as deep and filled with longing. Karan's lips were soft, warm, and familiar, grounding Dev in the moment.
The intimacy that followed wasn't rushed or urgent, but slow and deliberate, each touch a reminder of the love they shared, each kiss a promise that the distance wouldn't weaken their bond. Arjun's hands were steady, guiding Dev's body with a tenderness that spoke of his deep love, while Karan's touch was playful yet reverent, as if he were worshipping every inch of Dev's skin.
Dev's breath quickened as their hands explored him, as their lips pressed against his skin in a symphony of sensation. He could feel the love in every touch, every kiss—Karan's playful nips at his ear, Arjun's gentle but firm grip on his hip. They were both giving him everything, holding nothing back, as if to say that no matter where he went, this love would follow.
As they moved together, their bodies intertwined, Dev felt the overwhelming weight of their love—the equal, unbreakable bond that tied them together. He wasn't just leaving them; he was carrying their love with him. And they were making sure he felt it, that he knew how deeply they needed him, how much he was cherished.
In the quiet aftermath, as they lay tangled together under the sheets, their bodies warm and spent, Dev felt a sense of peace settle over him. Karan was curled against his chest, his breath soft and even, while Arjun lay beside him, one arm draped protectively over both of them.
Dev smiled softly, his heart full. In that moment, he knew that no matter how far away he went, this love would remain. It was too strong, too real to be broken by distance. And as he drifted off to sleep, wrapped in the warmth of their love, he knew that everything would be okay.
