Chapter 2

Kai: Fuck you.

Arthur: Well that's one way to say you missed me.

Kai: I don't!

Kai: Soooo wana hang out?

Arthur: No.

Kai: No?! NO?! I will most definitely NOT take no as an answer!

Arthur: I have work.

Kai: Boy,fuck your damn work.

Arthur: But I'm busy!

Kai: That's it, I'm pulling up at your front door.

Arthur: Don't! Ugh,fine we'll hang out.

Kai: Great! Pick me up at 5 pm. Bye bye,bestie!!!

Arthur: I hate you.

Kai wore a white button down shirt, black jeans,and black shoes.

He sat down on the couch in the living room,scrolling through his phone while he waited for Arthur.

Minji was out with her friends so,he was home alone,really it was much quieter when Minji isn't around and it's not like he's complaining or anything.

There was a knock on the door,he jumped off the couch excitingly and went to open.

There stood Arthur looking as handsome as ever, but Kai would never say it out loud,mainly because Arthur's ego literally reached the goddamn roof and he didn't wanna add to it.

He was wearing a black shirt tugged inside his black jeans, he was wearing a leather jacket and black sports shoes.

"Did I keep you waiting?" Arthur smirked

"Yes! You are five minutes late!" Kai argued

"Relax,Princess." Arthur shrugged

Oh he did NOT just call me that. Kai thought

"Don't ever call me that you ugly duckling!" Arthur gasped placing a hand on his chest.

"Oh no! How could you?! My poor heart. How will I ever recover?!"

Kai huffed and rolled his eyes. "Just shut up!"

Arthur smirked clearly enjoying this. "With pleasure,your highness."

Kai so badly wanted to punch that stupid ugly smirk off of his face and use him to wipe the floor but come on, the floor deserves better.

Kai simply flipped Arthur off before locking the apartment door and leaving.

He can clearly heart Arthur laughing being him.

As they left the building,Kai scanned the parking lot.

"Where is your car?" Kai asked while still scanning the area.

"Oh I didn't bring my car." Arthur was still kinda laughing about what had happened earlier and Kai was just holding back the urge to slap the ridiculously handsome boy.

"Then how-" but before Kai could finish his sentence,Arthur cut him off. "We'll take my motorcycle."

Kai blinked, processing his words when suddenly he saw a black object being thrown his way.

He screamed like a little girl whose parents refused to take her to buy make up.

He managed to dodge it just before it hit his beautiful,most amazing and precious head.

"What the fuck,Arthur?!" Arthur just smiled innocently and shrugged.

"My bad."

My bad?! Not even a proper apology?! THE GODDAMN AUDACITY!!!

Kai sent a glare towards Arthur, if looks could kill Arthur would be long gone.

He picked up the helmet which was brutally thrown at him by the way. He wore the helmet and got onto the bike.

"Buckle up,Princess."

"I told you not to call me thaAHHHHHH!" Kai yelled as Arthur started the bike without warning and took off.

"I fucking hate you!!!"

"Oh shut up! We both know you don't."

Kai chose to ignore him and let himself relax.

He looked around noticing the street lights, the buildings, and the cars. He then shifted his attention to the male driving the bike and smiled.

He was glad to have him, to have someone he can trust and go to when he felt alone.

Yes, of course he also had Minji but he also had Arthur and he's glad to have him by his side, even though he can get annoying and grumpy sometimes.

Kai wrapped his arms around Arthur's waist tightly while smiling.

He loved him deeply.

As a friend of course.
