The truck soon pulled into Lover's Lane, Garroth turning onto Kawaii-Chan's driveway and killing the engine. He looked back into the other seats, seeing Aphmau asleep on Kawaii-Chan, as well as Travis hugging Katelyn, also asleep. Zane was also asleep, arms crossed and mask still on. Garroth sighed, realizing he had to deal with everyone himself. He opened the door and heard a familiar voice speak from the porch.

"Is she in there?"

Garroth turned around, seeing Melissa sitting on the porch swing, wrapped in winter clothes. He nodded once, and she muffled a gasp. She got up, rushing over to the car, and Garroth opened one of the doors to show her. She looked at Aphmau before helping pick her up, while Garroth dealt with Kawaii-Chan.

"When I called Zane, I didn't imagine this happening. I just wanted to tell him that Aaron remembered proposing... she smells different." Her ears went back, and Garroth tried to not laugh. She cradled Aphmau in her arms, making sure that Aphmau wouldn't wake up.

"That's probably due to the fact that she's pregnant, Melissa." Garroth closed the door with his shoulder and led the way into Kawaii-Chan's house, managing to get the keys out of the bag Kawaii-Chan had. It took Melissa a few moments to register what Garroth had said.

"She's... pregnant?"

"You can't see because of the blanket, but I believe she's seven months along. The entire time she's been away." Garroth gently set Kawaii-Chan onto the couch, removing her shoes before turning to see Melissa's face. She was crying.

Garroth quickly took Aphmau from her, setting the luna next to the meif'wa, then bear-hugging Melissa. She shook with her crying before her muffled voice spoke up.

"He said that she smelled different, that he could smell her from miles away. I didn't believe him, but if he could smell her that far away..."

"He'll smell her being a few houses down. It's about time for a reunion for those two."

"He only remembers proposing, not what happened after with the guardian forces. What if that sends him into shock?"

"Well, we'll tell him that she's sick for a while and on quarantine from all the testing that she had to do. That should keep him back for a while, maybe." Melissa nodded, wiping tears. They all had been through so much since Starfall, and she just wanted Aaron to stay safe after everything.

"Let's see if he notices first, then I'll tell him that." Garroth nodded before motioning outside to get the others.

Zane was awake when they both got back, and he waved at Melissa. He motioned inside, and Garroth nodded, letting Zane slip by to get inside while Melissa worked to carry Katelyn in, leaving Garroth to carry Travis. Garroth threw Travis over his shoulder before closing the car door. They headed back inside, Garroth clicking the keys to lock the car while everyone was inside.

Zane was already going to work in the kitchen. The clock said it was nine in the morning, and Garroth sighed, remembering someone he forgot to let know where he was going. He pulled out his phone; numerous notifications were on it after Garroth put it on silent. Laurance had called him, texted him, even emailed him. Garroth winced seeing them and quickly sent a text to him, telling him to come to Kawaii-Chan's house, after he set Travis down, of course.

Zane shot him a knowing look, and Garroth blushed a little. Garroth had a crush on Laurance, his best friend from high school. Garroth didn't even know he liked men; he was into Aphmau most of the year, but who wasn't? She was adorable and small. However, over time, Garroth started noticing Laurance in a different light. It was the little things that made his heart flutter – the way Laurance laughed, his unwavering support, and the warmth in his eyes whenever he looked at Garroth.
