Garroth hurried around the living room of Aaron and Aphmau. Pictures lined the wall of memories that they all knew well. The pack had taken Aaron out to allow Garroth and Laurance to get a head start on packing. Lucinda had worked in the bedroom for packing away clothes and what not. Garroth looked over at Laurance, seeing him in just a tank top right now since he was packing up stuff in the hot kitchen.

Kim was busy with cooking food for them, taking over for Kawaii-Chan, making the kitchen hot and giving Garroth a show of Laurance. Garroth quickly looked away, working on taking down the picture frames. Kim looked at Garroth then glanced at Laurance before sighing; she clearly knew what was going on.

Since the ghost had left her, she seemed more in tune with other's emotions. She could feel the lust and love coming off of Garroth towards Laurance. The other man, however, seemed oblivious, yet had the same things for Garroth, just muted since Laurance couldn't take a hint. Probably all of their friends knew, and Laurance couldn't seem to catch on if it would save his life.

She stirred the stew and watched Garroth leave the house, carrying a box of packaged pictures before making her move. "So, Laurance, been on any dates lately?"

"Ha! Surprisingly no, why? You wanting to go on one?" Kim jabbed him with the spoon, causing him to laugh more.

"No, I'm just wondering. You're the only one that wasn't really affected by the whole thing so I wanted to know what normal felt like" Kim winced, getting hot stew on her fingers as she plopped more things to it.

Laurance didn't answer for a while as he pulled dishes out of the cupboard and wrapped them in bubble wrap. Kim looked over him and felt a bit of sadness coming off of Laurance. She quickly looked away, not meaning to hurt her friend but it was true. He was the only one basically still ok since he didn't come to Starfall. She was just trying to make chit-chat really. "It's ok, I guess. I mean right now I'm just trying to figure out myself."

"Oh? Finding a new hobby or something?"

Laurance let out a soft chuckle but it's clear that it didn't break his concentration. "Have you...did you ever develop a crush on someone you've known for years just because they changed a little? I don't mean personality wise, I mean physically, though mentally changed probably as well"

Laurence seemed to be a little pink while talking and Kim put the lid on the pot so she could give her attention to Laurance. "I mean, yes, I like girls. Boys got added to the list a while ago when I saw more of the world but your closest friend? Have you ever felt that? Like you want to be more but then you're standing on the knife's edge, waiting to make a wrong move?"

Kim watches him run his finger around a glass as he spoke, his nervousness radiating off of him like heat would on concreate. "No, I haven't fallen in love with a friend, but I've felt the pain of it. There is no soft way of telling your best friend of what you feel but if they are your best friend, they won't let you go. Even if you can't be romantic, you can still be good friends with each other" Laurence looked at her with wide eyes, setting the glass down fully.

"Really?" Kim nodded, smiling at him. "Wow, ok then. Then, any idea on how to ask someone out?"

"Aren't you like the king of flirting?" Kim took the glass and wrapped it while he was stunned. "Though you might want to ask Zane or Aaron about that. They have lovers and are probably the best bet with asking people out. That or just do it."

Laurance turned back to focusing on Kim's words, having her return to her cooking. Laurance seemed to be thinking hard about what they talked about as Garroth came back into the room, finishing up with the last of the pictures. They met each other's eye and pink lined Garroth's cheeks before he hurried outside. Laurance watched him run out before turning back to the dishes, pink lining his cheeks as well now.

Aphmau watched out the car window as trees and buildings whooshed by; her ears were down and Melissa looked at her, a worried look on her face. Lucinda was in the back with Kawaii-Chan, chatting about a new recipe. "Penny for your thoughts, Aphmau?" The luna looked over to her sister-in-law and sighed.

"Just thinking about what my mom said. Do I really look that big?"

"Well, kind of. I thought you were just a few weeks off of giving birth, not two months."

Aphmau's ears went down more, and she let out a low whimper at Melissa's words. "I didn't think that much about this, I thought it was normal for my stomach to be this big but twins? If Aaron can't remember, how am I supposed to take care of both of them alone?"

"Aphmau, you aren't alone. You have friends and your family, new as well as old. If you need help, several of us would drop what we are doing and come to help you. Aaron will remember fully one day, and you'll be a happy family, just how you guys wanted." Melissa had sped up a little, startling Kawaii-Chan a little, even though you could only tell with her ears going down.

"Right, sorry. It's just a bit much right now for me"

"Do you know the genders? I'm guessing not due to the fact that you didn't know you had twins"

"No, even though they didn't give me much information, which was one I refused to listen to. Travis tried to tell me, but I didn't listen, I ended up shoving him off the bed to make him stop." Aphmau laughed softly.

Everyone else had gone silent listening to Aphmau; she hasn't spoken once on where they were or what happened to them, just little things like what she just said. Kawaii-Chan was typing away on her phone, Melissa heard her furiously typing. She chuckled and rolled her eyes as she slowed, turning into a parking lot. "Have any ideas for names?"

"Well, I wanted to play with A names since Aaron and I both have them. Something like Alexander, Alex for short, and Adian for boys. For girls, I wanted Amber and Angela. If both, I wanted Alex and Amber." Aphmau seemed to gain a spark of joy then, speaking on names that she wanted her kids to have, and Melissa smiled at her Sister-in-law happily.

She got out of the car, quickly going over to help Aphmau next while Kawaii-Chan and Lucinda jumped out. Aphmau looked tired the moment her feet touched the ground, but she shook it off. Melissa took Aphmau's hand and led her into the mall that she had drove them to. Aphmau's eyes seemed to grow wide, realizing that they were going baby shopping. Aphmau looked at Melissa who grinned devilishly before continuing to pull her along. Aphmau let out a low groan of complain but it was clear that Melissa wasn't going to let up.

She let Melissa drag her from baby store to baby store, being bribed with food to not complain the entire time. She did find some things that she wanted. Stuff like matching cribs, photo frames, and even cute wolf stuffies. Melissa paid for it all, despite Aphmau's protests, she even had them going to be shipped!

Melissa grinned at Aphmau after their final one, and Aphmau glared back, clearly displeased about the spoiling happening. "Don't worry about it, Aph! They are going to be my only niece or nieces or nephew or nephews! Even in werewolves, it's rare to get twins!"

Aphmau ears perked up at that little bit of information. Werewolf twins were rare even with werewolves, making this a special case. Melissa handed her a pretzel then, snapping Aphmau from her thoughts. Aphmau scowled at Melissa again but bit into the sugary dough anyways.

"How's your magic going, Aph?" Lucinda spoke directly to Aphmau for the first time since they arrived. Lucinda's eyes didn't glow as bright as they did before Starfall, clearly a sign that she was missing her magic. Aphmau looked down at her pretzel, almost immediately losing her appetite.

"It got stronger, I could feel it when I healed this gunshot wound on Travis." She walked forward, leaving them behind her and it took a few seconds for her to register what happened. She looked back to wide eyes and open mouths. She flinched back, seeing how shocked they were before realizing that she said something on how bad it was there. She looked at each of her friends, unsure on how they would react.

Crappy end for this chapter, yes, but I was trying to get it out this week. I've been getting a lot more tired lately so I'm trying my best to get these chapters out!
