He dragged me throughout the rest of the gigantic house, his hand kept firm around my waist. Anytime we moved, I could smell his scent, a combination of smoke and pine.
He allowed me to pile on food, holding the plate while I picked out my favorites. He led me through the back doors of the kitchen into a luscious garden. The bushes were coated with varieties of colorful flowers, and not a single plant was of dull nature.
"Woah, it's stunning." I whispered.
"Yeah, it is." He murmured. Yet when I looked up at him, expecting his sight to be on the scene in front of us, they were already on me.
I shimmied my body until his arm finally gave out. My shoulders regained their stature and I raised my chin."We are obviously getting no where from this. You've yet to answer any of my questions yet still keep me hostage. Not cool, dude." I patted his burly chest and attempted to shuffle away from his wrath.
In no time to think, he captured my wrist and spun me towards him. His primal form kept me firm against his chest, his eyes captivating mine.
"You're mine. I need you to get that thought in your stubborn little head." He tapped against my temple.
I pushed against his body, shoving him with the palms of my hands. His arms reluctantly released me and offered me space.
"Try to run again and i'll put a collar around your neck." He bent down to hover over my ear, his lips brushing over the shell.
"However, where I attach the leash is up to how you behave." He taunts.
I shivered, the whisper of a breeze flowing down my spine along with his crude words. I glared up at him, scoffing at his obscenity.
"Shakespeare would be ashamed of your attempt at romance." I snickered.
He let out a dark chuckle, intertwining our fingers and quickening my steps to match his rapid pace.
He kept me by his side as he repeated his actions of dragging me throughout the halls.
Eventually, we came upon a large mahogany door with intricate wooden designs. He pushed it open, gently gesturing and letting me go in.
In front of me was an array of expensive items. Classic books paraded along the shelves, and dim yellow lights filled the air. A fireplace sat across from a fancy desk that was framed by windows looking into the courtyard.
He closed the door with a slight slam as I walked towards one of the chairs near the fireplace.
"Wait here, malyshka. I have business to attend to. Don't try to run because I can't deny a game of cat and mouse."
He stalked towards me, his knee coming up to separate my legs as he bent down. He place his arms on either side of my head, supporting his movement as he crouched down until his face was directly in front of mine.
"There are guards everywhere. I will be back soon. Read, ask for food, I don't care." He steadily rose, bringing me with him as his hands caressed my waist.
His thumb gently rubbed against my cheek as his hands held onto my face.
"I'll be back, little one. Don't miss me too much."
He placed a kiss on my temple and disappeared past the door.
Once I heard the door click shut, I stood up and began snooping around the room. I came around to his desk, rummaging through his drawers.
After a couple minutes, I gave up and slumped back into the plush chair. I curled my knees and rested my head against arm rest.
I noticed a small black rectangular cube, a grin spreading across my cheeks.
I speedily reached for it, dialed the number written on the notepad, and pressed call.
"Send up everything from the kitchen to the Russian guys office," I ordered.
"please." I added.
