As the afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the practice room, Liminne crossed her arms, her irritation bubbling over.

"It's afternoon now! Why are we still practicing?" she exclaimed, her frustration evident.

Simera rolled her eyes. "Stop it! You're not the only one who feels that way! And you know the reason, so don't ask."

"But... but..." Liminne stammered, searching for a way out of the relentless rehearsals.

Karayami stepped in, her calm demeanor soothing the tension. "Let's just focus on the practice, guys. It's not in our hands. The German festival is coming up soon, and Anhor mam is also really nervous about it. We need to make sure everything goes smoothly."

"Yeah! We can't afford to make any mistakes. We have to win," Simera added, her determination shining through.

The trio shared a moment of solidarity, voices rising in unison, "We will give it our all!"

"Hey, Simera! It's your turn to start on the annual function decorations," Karayami encouraged. "I've made the design, now it's time for you to show your creativity, Miss Council Representative."

"Hmph. We need to start with the stage first. And..." Simera began, but was cut off.

"Hey! Me too! I want to help! Don't leave me behind!" Liminne pouted, crossing her arms.

Karayami chuckled, sharing a knowing glance with Simera. "We know, we know! How could we leave you..."

"OUR SHORTY & WALKING DISEASE BEHIND!" they both exclaimed in unison, bursting into laughter.

"Heyyyyyy!!!!" Liminne protested but couldn't help joining in the laughter.

"Hey, Karayami, are you still going to your martial arts class today?" Simera asked, wiping a tear from her eye.

"Yeah, I can't miss that. Or I'm going to get shouted at," Karayami replied with a playful grimace.

"Who's gonna shout at you?" Simera quizzed, tilting her head.

"Well, someone annoying..."Just then, Elphis strolled in, a mischievous grin on his face. "Well, look what we got here—an all-time eater! Short lemon and her friends!"

"Hey!? I'm not a short lemon, you over-tall pole!" Liminne shot back, her eyes narrowing.

"Well, so you admit that you're short," Elphis said, smirking.

"No! I'm still growing, you old man!!" Liminne retorted defiantly.

"Old man!? You short brat..." Elphis laughed, but Roshik interjected.

"Stop it, Elphis! She's right; she's only 16, so she's still growing. Can't you just talk like a normal person?"

"See? Even Roshik bro agrees with me," Liminne declared triumphantly.

"You stole my friend..." Elphis said dramatically, feigning sorrow.

"So, you guys are still practicing?" Roshik asked, interrupting the playful banter.

"Yeah, because our German festival is coming soon. To avoid any mistakes and win, we have to practice more," Simera explained, her voice full of resolve.

"I see. All the best then," Roshik smiled at them, his gaze lingering on Karayami.

"You guys talk. I have to go now. I need to get and deliver some papers to the council room. Bye!" Karayami said, waving as she left.
