"I don't trust Bae's idea," Wreckt mentioned as he surveyed the colosseum. "She seems too devious, especially if she is openly threatening your progress. Is the game that important to you?"

"There are times I'd rather just give her full control. Her skills far outweigh mine when it comes to running a city, or even a territory, while mine are better suited to shady dealings," Alan explained, kicking a small brown stone that stood in his way.

Wreckt snorted with a harsh exhale. The wind from his nostrils could be felt several feet away. Leaning over, his large reptilian hands reached down and picked up a small piece of an arrow buried under the sands.

"Then why not do just that? When we first met, you were ruthless, but fair. Now, you seem different. Perhaps it'd be best if you simply swapped places, and instead went back to running your businesses as a part of her design. You flirt with danger otherwise."

Alan stopped, pulling out his favorite pair of dice from his pocket. "Alright, we'll let this decide. Odds I give it all to Bae, even I keep it."

"Will you please stop. It's an addiction, and you give up your will to those stupid cubes."

"No. I just believe life is a random set of chances. I'll admit, I've rolled decent so far, but life without danger is boring."

Wreckt dropped the arrow, and Alan watched it fall back to the ground. "For someone so intelligent," Wreckt paused.
