Coraline Broussard is the less perfect version of her sister Geri. She has always been a little troubled and tries to navigate her life in Austin, Texas the best she can. But is not always good.

Her drinking problems and lake of control of her mouth keeps getting her in trouble.

It's a good thing she sees the Walkers as a family, because they have a tendency to catch some strays and love them.

The only problem is: she's always been in love with Cordell Walker.

Cordell was always in love with Emily, the mother of his children. She died a year ago and he had just returned from an undercover job, still swallowed by grief.

Coraline didn't know how much she missed him until she saw him again at the sidestep and made a fool out of herself.

Now she has to figure it out what to do with her life, how to be a better person, and how to get over a single widower Cordell Walker, especially now that they don't see eye to eye.

But this is not a story only about romance. It's a story about a love that goes beyond romantic. A story about family and friendship.

- I'm following the show's seasons, cutting this story in four parts and writing under each episode. If you haven't watch the show, it might make it hard for you to understand it because I won't be showing everything, only Coraline's pov, but i'll try to keep everything well explained.
