"Here's my story", Pam began.

-

There once was a lady, slightly below average height, blondie, not too bad looking...

-

"At least my story wasn't a self-insert Mary Sue fic", E.B. remarked under her breath.

Pam rolls her eyes.

-

As I was saying...

One day, the lady was walking down the street, when a sign spinner hit her unusually hard. The lady later came to in the hospital. When the doctor shook her hand, the lady suddenly had a vision: the doctor getting hit by a bus!

The lady didn't think much of it and she was checked out later that day. That evening, however, the news reported that same doctor getting ran over by a bus.

-

"Oh, my!", Sam said, hugging his knees.

Even E.B. was horrified.

-

Then, the lady was paid a visit by her mother the following day. When the two of them hugged, the lady had another vision: it was of her mother being struck on the head by a stray brick.

She insisted to her mother to stay away from construction sites.

But she didn't count on an overpass collapsing on top of her mother!

-

"Oh, Seuss, that's horrible!", Guy exclaimed.

"Is that what happened to Grandma?", Sam asked on the verge of tears.

"No. Why would you ask that?", Pam questioned, completely astounded.

"Well, you inserted yourself into the story. I figured you were projecting..."

"No, no, Sam. Nothing like that."

-

As I was saying,...

The lady tried to move out of town so she wouldn't foresee anyone else's deaths. But out of the blue, a vision spontaneously popped into her mind: a fire ravaging the town!

She tried not to worry about it since it was the rainy season.

...

But one day, there was a parade celebrating the invention of the pencil and every pencil-pusher in town was attending it.

The lady attended, hoping to stop the fire before it could spread. She even kept a seltzer water sprayer on her person just in case.

Unfortunately, the odds were much higher for a stray lightning bolt that preceded the horrible storm. And the rain did nothing to the fire...

--

Just then, another bolt of lightning cracked loudly outside. This made Gluntz jump right out of her dinosaur costume. E.B. let out a bloodcurdling scream and zoomed upstairs.

"Told you it was better", Pam insisted, crossing her arms.

Sam was still hugging his knees, but stopped shaking. "I'm eager for another story."

Guy, sitting up straight, finally says, "Then it's my turn."
