The text Sereia sent yesterday was kind of weird. She just sent in all caps to meet at the Juice Oasis at noon tomorrow (which is now today). I didn't really know what the problem was but considering Sereia rarely texts anything on our group chat, I'm going to admit it kind of freaked me out when she sent that text. When I texted and asked what the problem was, she just said that she didn't want to explain over our phones. I'm walking out my back door to get my bike from the garage when our automatic sprinklers turn out and hit me with water.

"Great! Now I'm going to be all wet- WOAH!" I fall to the ground and can't even catch myself. Why did I just fall? I was only standing there. Maybe my legs gave out. I have to stand up but find that I can't. I try moving my legs but end up moving my entire lower half. I look behind me to see a fishtail where my legs are supposed to be. What? A fish tail? It's some sort of red color, like the color you see barns painted, but at the same time it's all sparkly and glittering in the sun. There's a trail of fins leading down from my lower back to where my fin is. But my legs aren't the only thing that's changed. My top has too. It looks like a bathing suit, but it has real scales and looks the same color as my tail. How in the world did this happen?! I need to get my legs back before anyone sees. That would be hard to lie about. But how do I change back? I turned this way when the sprinklers hit me with water, so maybe it was that? After a whole bunch of struggling, I finally get to the other side of the yard where I can turn the sprinkler off. When I finally do, I don't get sprayed by water, but I still have a tail. If water is truly what did this to me, maybe I should dry off, but with what? I don't have anything to dry off with. There's only one way I can, so I drag myself to the patio and lay in the sun, hoping that'll do the trick. After a while, some sparkly bubbles collect around my tail and when they're gone, my legs are back. I jump to my feet, too much in shock to realize that my clothes and hair are still there and completely dry and hop on my bike to head to the Juice Oasis.
