Volo in Diamond and Pearl(Pokémon 💎 🦪)

Ch7

Third Person's POV

It's the Jubilife City Contest and Dawn couldn't be giddier with excitement about her Debut along with Volo who wishes to become something more than just being the Sinnoh Region Champion's little brother. The beautiful dress her mother had given her didn't hurt matter either, to make things more interesting, Aipom has convince Ash to compete as well. Adding to their circle of friend is the introduction of a powerful Coordinator named Zoey already with one ribbon under her belt. Never one to be left out a disguised Jessie or Jessilina also entered the fray making round one more exciting; and so, between Volo, Dawn, Ash, Zoey, Jessilina and many other contestants who will survive the first-round judging.

"Alright! Let's see what the judges have to say for the eight contestants moving on to the Battle round are..." Marian announced as everyone looked at the screen and there were the eight contestants moving on that includes, Volo, Ash, Dawn, Zoey and Jessilina. "...these lucky eight!"

"Alright we're in, Volo!" Dawn cheered and Volo was really relieved to see that he was in it.

"Awesome!" Ash cheered

"Aipom!" the Long Tail Pokémon cried out its name out of joy as Pikachu cheered for them. 

"Nothing like getting pass the first step." Brock added.

Dawn had sighed out of relief glad she was able to make it.

"Congrats." Zoey said, looking over at them with a small smile.

"Thanks, Zoey. But you made it look so easy." Dawn said, looking at her. "I can see why you already have a ribbon."

"Well, I don't know about that." Zoey said 

But then Dawn had realized something "Oh no!" She gasped. 

"What's up, Dawn?" Volo asked, looking at her, confused to why she acts like that as the others looked at her, confused. but then realization hit him 'Oh no...'

"I got to call my mom right now!" Dawn states smiling.

Volo sweat drops "of course that's what you were worried about" he said before turning to Zoey "We haven't formally introduced ourselves; my name is Volo and let me tell you your performance with Misdreavus was intimidating but in a good way! I enjoy it overall" Volo tells Zoey with a tone of admiration.

Zoey smiles at the blonde "It's nice to mee you too, Volo, say I was amazed with your performance with that Pokémon of yours"

"You mean Meloetta, Yeah, it is quite a special one, I was lucky enough to caught it when it caught me singing" he explains.

Zoey laugh "guessing singing is what got you too together?" she guesses.

Volo laughs back "you can say that" he agrees.

Gary, Ash, and surprisingly Brock are watching the two interact "Lucky" they muttered looking at Zoey.

-scene change-

"Of course I was watching." Johanna said to Dawn through the video phone "Congratulations on making it to the second round, even you Volo." She said, smiling.

"Thanks, Mom!" Dawn said, cheerfully as Volo smiles a little at the praise he got from Dawn's mother.

"Remember you two, this is a whole new ball game." Johanna reminded them "It's a battle after all, I'm sure you're familiar with that Volo. Then you have to make your Pokemon do their best." She explains

Volo nods "thanks for the warning" he thanked the woman.

"Mom, we know." Dawn said, getting determined. "Don't worry."
