Volo in Diamond and Pearl(Pokémon 💎 🦪)

Ch9

Third Person's POV

Inching closer to the Oreburgh Gym and Ash and Volo's first Sinnoh Region Gym Battle a towering mountain provides our last struggle to overcome.

Brock had checked the map and smiles. "There we go! It's just over this mountain." He informs.

"Great! Let's climb over it, quick!" Ash exclaims.

"Aw...but there's a Pokémon Center, right there." Dawn said, pointing at the Pokémon Center that was a mile away. "Let's stay there for tonight and go tomorrow." She suggests.

"What do you mean?! That Oreburgh Gym is waiting for me for a long time, now!" Ash exclaims. 

"Pika, pika!" Pikachu agreed.

"I think the Oreburgh Gym can wait a bit longer." Dawn grumbles.

"Dawn is right, besides by the time we get there, it will be nightfall. and the Gym isn't going anywhere" Gary points out

Just then Bonsly had started crying and the others had noticed that. 

"Is Bonsly alright?" Volo asked, a bit concerned. 

"I think Bonsly is just hungry." Brock stated as he pulled out some Pokémon food. "Here you go." He offers as Bonsly started to eat them, happily.

"Whoa! I didn't realize that Bonsly could eat solid food, now." Ash states as he watches Bonsly eat with Dawn. 

"First, it learned Mimic and now this." Dawn states 

Volo smiles at this "What could be better than this?" he hears Gary asking.

'Bonsly will evolve into a Sudowoodo that's for sure' Volo thinks smiling at Bonsly

But then all of them noticed the leaves blew up in the air from the forest. "What's that?" Brock asks.

"Maybe something happened." Dawn suggests. 

"Let's go take a look!" Volo said and all of them had quickly run off to where the leaves were blowing.

-meanwhile-

"Wait, I'm your friend!" a Nurse Joy pleaded, trying to help a Nuzleaf who had its arm injured. But Nuzleaf was afraid, not wanted to listen to her as it backed away. "I just want to help you. But I won't do anything if you give me a chance, so please just stand still." Nurse Joy begs.

But the wild Nuzleaf had unleashed a Razor Wind Attack. Nurse Joy had screamed in panic as she covered herself from the attack. Just then, someone had slid right in front of her.

Nurse Joy opens her eyes and was surprised to see Brock standing in front of her. "You just leave this to me!" Brock said, calmly. 

"But who are you?" Nurse Joy asks.

"I'm Brock, gorgeous! And I have come to you, in the fingers of fate!" Brock exclaimed lovingly as he shown the red string again, Brock was interrupted with Croagunk using Poison Jab on him! The Toxic Mouth Pokémon croaked as it dragged Brock away. "But...t-there are fingers there too!" Brock stuttered.

Volo, Gary, Dawn and Ash ran to find Nurse Joy, Brock, and the injured Nuzleaf "What's going on?!" Ash calls and Nuzleaf was alarmed to see more humans and it used Razor Wind again.

It almost hit Ash and the others as they looked over at Nuzleaf. "Who's that Pokémon?" Dawn asked as she checked her Pokedex.

"That's a Nuzleaf!" Gary states.

"Nuzleaf, the Wily Pokémon. Nuzleaf lives in dense, overgrown forests and occasionally comes out to frighten people."
