Normal day at Coffee shop

Back in KC

We we're on the jet on the way back to KC.

Emmy had her head rested in my lap, while I ran my fingers through her beautiful blonde curls.

" Taylor" Emmy said breaking the silence.
"Yes, Sweetheart?" She at up right next to me.

I saw her hesitate about what she going to say next. " Never mind" She looked down at her lap.

" No tell me, u can trust me to tell me stuff Emmy" I said. " Are you going to break my Daddy's heart? Like his last girlfriend?"

I didn't expect for a little girl to say this.
Emmy just stares at me. " Because I like you a lot and I don't want my daddy to be sad again" She stares at her hands.

" of course not Emmy I will never do that to you or your dad ever, I love u both really much and y'all mean the world to me." Emmy then starts crying.

I pulled her into my lap and held her as she starts crying. " Oh Emmy" I said rubbing her back.

" I hope I didn't say anything to bother u" I tell her. " no it's not that, it's cuz every daddy's girlfriend always left him cuz of me and daddy got sad, and no one's ever loved me expect my daddy and his family"

" Emmy there's a lot of people who love you and I promise it wasn't ur fault for what the other did baby, I love u and I promise that I would never leave u or ur dad" I tell her.

" I love You too Taylor" That made my heart bursts. " Don't tell Daddy I told u this" I kinda need to tell him how Emmy feels. " I promise" even tho it's a lie.

We arrived at KC and we're back at Travis house. " DADDY!!" Emmy runs towards him and Trav picks her up.

" I miss u a lot princess was it fun?" Trav places her on his shoulders.

" Yessss They were all so nice to mee" She tells him. " Okay princess how about u go and take a nap u must be tiered?" Trav kisses her on the cheek. " Yes sir" and she head down to her room.

As Emmy closes her door Trav immediately comes and hugs me. " and of course I cant forget about my queen" He kisses me and I kiss him back.

"I missed u" I say and we head down to the couch and sit down. " I hope she wasn't any trouble?" He says.

" of course not, she's an Angel" I say.

We put on a movie while I swing my feet over Travs legs as he continues to watch the movie.

I'm a bit distracted about the things Emmy told me earlier. " What wrong baby?" Trav asks me and I look over.

" nothing just thinking" I should've of known he wouldn't let that slide. " No baby what's wrong, don't lie to me" I sigh.

" Emmy mentioned a few things while we were gone" I say and he looks at me confused. " oh yh like what?" He asks.

" Just about ur ex girlfriends and how they treated u and her" I told him almost in a whisper.

" oh what she tell u?"

" How they treated Emmy bad and how they made u feel, and Emmy also broke down on me crying saying no body loves her except you and how she wishes she had a mom" Travs eyes then start to get teary.

" I didn't know she felt this way".

" she told me not to tell u, but I say talk to her about it?" I suggest, and he nods.

"You know,  with Kayla I would've never trusted her to take care of Emmy alone even if she did want to which she never did, and with you I trusted you states away" he kisses me temple.

" I appreciate that you trust me Trav, I will never do anything to hurt you or Emmy, she's like my own daughter" I smile.

" I bet you will be an amazing mom one day" I then remembered what Emmy had called me in NYC but I decided not to bring it up to Trav, I didn't know how he was going to feel about it.

" I'm kinda tiered" I yawn.

" well I will stay with you Intill you fall asleep before I check up on Emmy"

He cuddles me and kisses me on the cheek. My eyes start to slowly close.
