Ava's POV

Me and my bestie Emily and I are going to a small live show at The Moroccan Lounge to see some singer named Johnnie Guilbert. Emily's a huge fan of his, but I've never even heard of the guy. But, you know, curiosity got the best of me, so I'm tagging along to see what all the fuss is about.

We are currently standing in the long queue with many other people in front of us as we patiently wait for 8 pm to arrive, and we respectfully wait to enter. Finally, after a few hours of standing in line, we were allowed to go inside. We gave our money to the person for our tickets and backstage passes, and then we went inside, cramped in with a lot of other people surrounding us.

"Come on, Ava, let's try to get closer to the front so that we can see Johnnie better," Emily suggested.

"Certainly, let us proceed. However, be mindful that if anyone encroaches upon my personal space or attempts to exert undue influence, I will not hesitate to assert my boundaries firmly but professionally." I retorted.

"Emily politely suggested that it was a fair decision and enthusiastically led me by the hand to the front of the stage area. There, Johnnie, along with his band members and his close friends Jake Webber and Carrington there to support him, were preparing to perform Johnnie's first song.

I see Johnnie sitting on the ledge of the stage, and I have to say he is very attractive up close, with his shaggy black emo shaggy hair, his eyeliner that brings out his sky blue eyes and his tight skinny jeans and black leather jacket really suited him he really was a sight to see. He started singing as he walked around the stage confidently singing his songs, and he walked over to the fans as they're all screaming out the lyrics to the song he is singing, he starts touching everyone's hands including Emily's as she screamed loudly and so did all the other girls.

It turned out that I was familiar with some of his songs, as I had heard them on the radio previously. I sing along to Zombie since I've heard it many times, and it's actually quite catchy, and it's definitely a unique song.

I started singing along with everyone else and Johnnie as we were swaying back and forth. Emily hands me her plush. Johnnie Zombie Johnnie came over, took my doll, and kissed it. I gasped as I took a video of it with my phone. Eventually, the concert was coming to an end, and it was time for Emily and me to use our backstage passes to go backstage and meet Johnnie. We show the security guards our backstage passes, and we come up onto the stage we see Johnnie getting hugged by his friends Jake, Carrington, and Tara.

As I was feeling slightly apprehensive yet simultaneously thrilled about the prospect of conversing with Johnnie, Emily kindly introduced me to him.

"Hi, I'm Emily, and this is my best friend Ava. It's nice to meet you, Johnnie." Emily said confidently.

I stand there feeling a little overwhelmed being surrounded by a lot of people and by actually talking to someone more famous than myself.

Johnnie smiles politely, extends his hand to Emily, and shakes it firmly. He then turns to me, extends his hand, and shakes mine as well. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Emily and Ava," he says in a gentle and respectful tone.

"I would love to hear your thoughts on my live performance, ladies," Johnnie inquired with sincere interest.

"In all honesty, I must express my sincere appreciation for your exceptional performance. It was truly remarkable. This was my first time attending an event of this nature, and I must say, it was an incredibly positive experience for me." I said to Johnnie.

Emily politely excuses herself from the group, stating that she needs to use the restroom. She informs them that she will return shortly. "I genuinely value your feedback on my performance. It is greatly appreciated." Johnnie expressed. I smile at him. "It was not a problem at all, and I sincerely hope that one day I may have the privilege of achieving a level of success in my singing career comparable to yours." I stated respectfully. Johnnie chuckled politely. "I overheard your singing, and I must say, your vocals are quite impressive. Have you considered pursuing a career in music by approaching record labels? Or do you simply enjoy singing as a hobby?"

"Honestly, I have thought about it, but with me being introverted and shy, I don't think that would work out all too well with me. I'm not good with crowds. Even being here was a big step for me. I honestly do it because I love to sing. I make my own music videos and publish them on my YouTube channel." I tell Johnnie.

"That is quite intriguing. If it is not too much trouble, I would be delighted to hear some of your work." Johnnie inquired in a professional manner.

"Certainly, I would be pleased to share one of my compositions with you. Would you prefer that I sing it acapella or show you a video recording on my mobile device?" I inquired.

Johnnie smiles at me. "Demonstrate your vocal abilities by singing Acapella for me."

So, I started singing My Oh My, and guess what? Johnnie was all ears, checking me out with his arms crossed. He looked super interested!

Johnnie applauds my performance. "I must say, your vocal abilities are truly remarkable!"

"Thank you, it's very much appreciated, it was nice too meet you but i must be going now.." i stated.

"It was nice meeting you too Ava, keep up the good work with your singing, I hope to see you around again sometime." Johnnie said politely.

With that i left to go find Emily and we head out and we drive home in the darkness of the night. I will never forget about this wonderful night. As soon as i get home, I go on social media on my phone and i follow Johnnie on Instagram, Twitter and Tiktok, hopefully he will see it and follow me back.
